The Imbut trail is a hike that lets you discover the Verdon in the heart the gorge and the river bed. Extraordinary landscapes await you but this hike is difficult and certain sections on the cliffs (Chemin Vidal) and through rocks (section until the Baou Beni), require a good level of physical fitness. Be careful of vertigo!The altitude calculated by the software is a little high, it's closer to about 800m. The SENTIER DE L'IMBUT has been closed since July 2022 by municipal decree. It is still closed as of today 10/26/23 until further notice (risk of landslides/landslides).If you wish to do so in a few months, inquire in advance with the Aiguines town hall on 04 94 70 21 93

Above Agay close to the beaches, the fabulous Massif de l'Esterel is the ideal terrain for a comfortable hike, but is always different.

Not a very long hike with less than 11 km but very hilly with a rocky, steep incline.

On this walk you'll discover some of the locations used to film Manon des Sources and Jean de Florette (1986): the Grotte de Mounoï cave, the dried-up stream and the Villa Renard - the hunchback's house.This route will also let you discover the Vallon des Martyrs, with its monument commemorating resistance fighters executed by the SS in 1944. All along the walk you'll experience incredible Provence landscapes and the Sainte-Baume.

A real route for hiking lovers. The Destel trail (named after the stream) offers a varied and enjoyable walk (climbing with a handrails and chains, a path along the water's edge, walking through the cuves (natural basins)).

This is a walk I'm really enjoying at the moment with flowers along the route and a view of the Barres de Cuers.There's little difficulty, the false-flat is long, after the hives on the descent, so be aware.The hives are magnificent.

This hike will visit the village of Carcés, Carcés Lake and the splendid Caramy Falls. Best in the spring when the water flow is stronger.You also will take a part of the path of Saint Jacques de Compostela.

I went on two walks I found on Visorando: "Le Revest - Tourris Castle" and "Tourris and the Pyramide de Cassini" before finding this itinerary that I'm recommending. The beginning of the first until the departmental road then part of the initial section of the second. Unlike the "Pyramide de Cassini", we discovered a route that's not marked on the maps but which joins the "Chemin des Turcos" in a forested area. A walk with uneven terrain that can be difficult at times.

A nice climb to the top of Coudon (altitude 702 m) near Toulon.

This varied hike visits the remains of the famous Devil's Bridge, which cost the lives of many cart drivers loaded with ice packs. They came down from Sainte Baume as fast as possible, to deliver the people of Toulon or other citizens.

Perched at an altitude of 800 metres, Mont Caume is one of the four Toulonais brothers which surround Toulon. It is certainly the highest; its summit is very dry as it's very exposed to winds and fluctuations in weather.All these factors make ascending Mont Caume essential and well worth it.The hike suggested here enables you to go all the way round the mountain and combines the pleasures of a very active route with the joys of a pretty much complete visit to both its summit and its slopes.
