Circuit via the Notre-Dame du Deffens Chapel

This route will take you up to Solliès-Ville and then past the Notre-Dame du Deffens Chapel. On the way back, you will follow the bed of an old stream.
Ascent of Coudon (83)

A nice climb to the top of Coudon (altitude 702 m) near Toulon.
Le Fenouillet - Château de Hyères starting from La Crau

This hike combines physical activity with culture. It will take us on a journey of discovery through the ruins of Hyères Castle. The local council has installed information panels on the site, allowing us to imagine what life was like in those days. Before that, this beautiful walk will take us to the recently renovated Notre-Dame du Fenouillet Chapel.
Sainte-Christine Chapel tour - Valcros and the Trubis Cave

This route takes you along rediscovered paths and, above all, through the hamlet of Valcros with its square, chapel, tree and oven. Next, head to the Trubis cave when there is water.
Afterwards, head towards the Castellas oppidum, but that will be for another time, and return to the Saint-Christine Chapel to appreciate its history and the view.
The sand caves at Revest-les-Eaux

A natural asset exploited by the local glass industry.
A route through woodland where you will see the remains of dwellings, wells, sand and stone quarries, and former industry, near the derelict hamlet of Les Olivières.
From Tourris to the Revest lake viewpoint

A walk through holm oaks to the Revest lake viewpoint passing by a cave which can be visited.
Notre-Dame de Santé in Cuers

A short climb to the Chapelles Sainte-Christine and the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Santé with its sundial on the ground. This is also an opportunity to discover part of old Cuers and the various wash houses along the way.
La Colle Noire from the Garonne beach

A short loop starting from the Garonne beach, reaching the summit of the Colle Noire via the Port des Oursinières, the Cap Garonne mine, the forts of Gavaresse and Colle Noire, and the Navicelle and Tibouren vineyards.
To the west, there is a view of the Grande Rade, Notre-Dame du Mai and the Bec de l'Aigle; to the east, the Tombolo de Giens, the Îles d'Or, Brégançon and Cap Bénat.
Barre de Cuers

A beautiful hike, with a good climb and a superb view of the heights. It's a shame about the end, 30 minutes of tarmac...
The Bees of Cuers

This is a walk I'm really enjoying at the moment with flowers along the route and a view of the Barres de Cuers.
There's little difficulty, the false-flat is long, after the hives on the descent, so be aware.
The hives are magnificent.
The Fort de la Gavaresse from the Garonne beach
A loop starting from the Garonne beach, reaching the Fort de la Gavaresse via the Port des Oursinières, the Cap Garonne mine, and the Navicelle and Tibouren vineyards.

Source of La Ripelle, Vieille Valette, Sand Caves and Tourravelle

A few efforts through sometimes difficult scree slopes and some mini-climbs will lead us to discover:
- the source of the Ripelle,
- the Vieille Valette karstic cave,
- the Gallo-Roman and medieval ruins, where you can imagine this village as an eagle's nest (the ancestor of La Valette)
- the Trou de Gaspard (de Besse)
- the decorated and sculpted sand caves to be explored by torchlight,
- the old Tourravelle farm and its magnificent surroundings.
Precautions: Read "Practical Information" below.
Geological curiosities around the Citerne Neuve

If you are guided by a desire to explore, this circuit, which penetrates the heart of Siou-Blanc, will allow you to discover lost arches, caves, karstic caves, dolomites and a few rocks whose shapes give free rein to the imagination. There are also a few remains of basic shelters, evidence of ancient occupation of the site. All these curiosities are hidden in the heart of a magnificent primeval forest and can be accessed by straying slightly from the more frequented paths.
Le Revest - Tourris castle for experienced hikers
Not a very long hike with less than 11 km but very hilly with a rocky, steep incline.
The Dardennes - The Turcos - the Pyramide de Cassini

I went on two walks I found on Visorando: "Le Revest - Tourris Castle" and "Tourris and the Pyramide de Cassini" before finding this itinerary that I'm recommending. The beginning of the first until the departmental road then part of the initial section of the second. Unlike the "Pyramide de Cassini", we discovered a route that's not marked on the maps but which joins the "Chemin des Turcos" in a forested area. A walk with uneven terrain that can be difficult at times.
Short walk in Les Salettes

If you have an hour or two to spare, here is a short walk (tinged with a certain nostalgia) with no other pretensions than to discover or rediscover a corner of Carqueiranne that has not changed too much.
On the Faron Massif

An extraordinary panorama of the most beautiful harbour in Europe awaits you at the top of Mont Faron, 584 metres above Toulon.
La Barre de Cuers via Les Veys

A very pleasant loop that takes you along the Barre de Cuers via Les Veys. The lower part is on a green trail. The upper section, along the Barre, offers magnificent views with Porquerolles, Port Cros, Le Levant and the main peaks of eastern Toulon in the background. The west-east orientation of the Barre means you can avoid the mistral wind. Despite strong winds, the trail is sheltered and easy to walk. Spring is the best season as it gets hot in summer.
Loop in the coualo from Le Revest-les-Eaux

If you like scrambling around the coualo (hill in Provençal) like a goat, unafraid of steep paths or argelas, salsepareilles, fragons and other kermes oaks, then this loop is for you.
Complete immersion in the scrubland and guaranteed solitude.
This trail was created from scratch in the steepest part to reach the quarry road from the dam via the hill.
Don't forget your secateurs to help maintain this trail.
Le Siou Blanc - Pyramide de Cassini - L'Arche de la Garoute

This hike will take you across the Siou Blanc plateau. First, head south towards the Pyramide de Cassini and its fabulous viewpoint over Mont Caume and the Bay of Toulon. Then head north, overlooking the Gapeau valley, to discover the Arche de la Garoute hidden in the woods of the Morières-Montrieux national forest.
The Aiguilles de Valbelle

This walk takes you through the Aiguilles de Valbelle site, with its rocky peaks rising out of the forest.
Beautiful forest tracks, a few footpaths and the Chartreuse Notre-Dame de Montrieux (which cannot be visited).
