The menhirs of the Lambert Plateau from Collobrières
A very pleasant loop trail allowing you to visit the menhirs of the Plateau de Lambert, dating from between 5,000 and 7,000 years ago. There is a majestic chestnut tree stump near the forest house. This almost thousand-year-old chestnut tree stump is attributed to Madame de Sévigné, who came to the Plateau Lambert farm to relax and recharge her batteries at the foot of the chestnut trees. It burned down in the 1980s.
The Col de la Bigue and the Rossignol from the Sainte-Philomène Chapel
This hike, which starts at the Sainte-Philomène Chapel, offers beautiful views of the plain to the east as far as the Hyères Islands. To the south-west, beyond the Col de la Bigue, it is bordered by the Cuers hills.
Through the narrow streets and memories of Pierrefeu-du-Var
Nestled against a rocky peak, Pierrefeu-du-Var reveals itself as a Provençal gem at the gateway to the Massif des Maures. The Bees of Cuers
This is a walk I'm really enjoying at the moment with flowers along the route and a view of the Barres de Cuers.
There's little difficulty, the false-flat is long, after the hives on the descent, so be aware.
The hives are magnificent.
Barre de Cuers
A beautiful hike, with a good climb and a superb view of the heights. It's a shame about the end, 30 minutes of tarmac...

The Gaoutabry Dolmen near Notre-Dame-des-Maures
A visit to the Gaoutabry dolmen is a classic outing in the London hinterland. A previously published hike accessed it from the Tamary valley. We went there in February 2016 and March 2018, starting from the village of Notre-Dame des Maures, which still bore the scars of the terrible Pansard flood of January 2014.

From the lake, the forest track and then steep steps lead us to the Rocher de Brauch, whose ridge overlooks the expanse of water of Lake Sainte-Suzanne, commonly known as Lake Carcès. This panorama offers a peaceful setting in the heart of Provence Verte. A long forest path and then a trail take us back to the lake shore. The Visorando app may be useful on one section.

A pretty loop with no particular difficulties, on tracks, among oak and arbutus trees in the Maures mountains.
Les Deuxièmes Borrels, variant H
This route is a variation of the excellent Les Deuxièmes Borels route, which is also featured on the website.
It is still, and I quote, a "lovely circular path with no particular difficulty, among the oak and arbutus trees in the Massif des Maures, with beautiful views of the sea and the islands".
This H variant extends the beautiful part on the track, at altitude and with views, and shortens the descent into the forest.
See the practical information for details of this variant.
