Circular above the Chapelle de la Trinité
A circular loop in the hills above La Farlède. It follows a steep-sided valley, climbs up to a field of rockroses, joins the Canal de Provence through the woods and returns to the houses and car park by the chapel. Numerous fossils and other structures appear on the limestone walls and ground. The vegetation covers and hides many terraces and other ruins, signs of active human occupation until at least the beginning of the last century.
A short trip to Belgentier
A short hike for short days. A large cave that serves as a shelter with a table and chairs.
Moderator's note : some paths have become problematic on this old hike. See reviews.

The Bees of Cuers
This is a walk I'm really enjoying at the moment with flowers along the route and a view of the Barres de Cuers.
There's little difficulty, the false-flat is long, after the hives on the descent, so be aware.
The hives are magnificent.
La Barre de Cuers via Les Veys
A very pleasant loop that takes you along the Barre de Cuers via Les Veys. The lower part is on a green trail. The upper section, along the Barre, offers magnificent views with Porquerolles, Port Cros, Le Levant and the main peaks of eastern Toulon in the background. The west-east orientation of the Barre means you can avoid the mistral wind. Despite strong winds, the trail is sheltered and easy to walk. Spring is the best season as it gets hot in summer.
Aiguilles de Valbelle - Clos de Peiron
This hike leads to a popular hiking spot in the Var region, but via a lesser-known route and using a minimum of tracks.
Geological curiosities around the Citerne Neuve
If you are guided by a desire to explore, this circuit, which penetrates the heart of Siou-Blanc, will allow you to discover lost arches, caves, karstic caves, dolomites and a few rocks whose shapes give free rein to the imagination. There are also a few remains of basic shelters, evidence of ancient occupation of the site. All these curiosities are hidden in the heart of a magnificent primeval forest and can be accessed by straying slightly from the more frequented paths.

The glassworks, the sand and marble quarries at Les Fourmis, Les Olivières
A circular through the forest to discover the sand quarry that supplied the Tourris glassworks, with some nice surprises inside if you have a head torch, torch or mobile phone. Then we will go to the old marble quarry in Le Revest where some blocks have been engraved, not only with ants, which are in the majority, but also with bees, butterflies, wild boars and a wolf. Finally, we will pass through the hamlet of Les Olivières, which was part of the commune of Le Revest and was abandoned at the beginning of the 20th century: ruins of houses, wells, cisterns and ovens. Don't miss the central square with its magnificent centuries-old oak tree. And we will end with the abandoned glassworks of Tourris. A beautiful walk for the curious, young and old alike.
If you take your time, allow 3½ hours for this fascinating walk.
