Park in the cemetery car park.
(S/E) Take Rue de l'Égalité to the pylon on the edge ofthe GR®90. This pylon is located above the municipal campsite. Follow theGR® 90, which is well marked in red and white. Start on the same path as the botanical trail. Continue until you reach the junction of the two trails.
(1) Keep left on the GR®. Cross the Vallon des Coignets and then the Vallon de Maravalette. Further on, you will reach the crossroads at the Maison Forestière de Lambert.
(2) Turn left until you reach the forest house to find the enormous stump of Mme de Sévigné's chestnut tree.
(3) Return to the previous crossroads.
(2) Take theGR® 90 again, following the fence around the field where the menhirs are located. At the end of the field, you will reach a multiple crossroads.
(4) Keep right on theGR® 90 until you reach the dam on the Desteu. Cross the ford and continue south-west. You will come to a crossroads at the Route de Lambert.
(5) Turn right and leave theGR® here. Then follow a few switchbacks downhill to reach the left bank of the Desteu. Follow it to the left and join the Rimbaud crossroads.
(6) Turn right heading north to reach the Vallon de Maravalette. Continue along the right bank of the Ruisseau de la Malière. You will come to a crossroads in the hamlet of Haute Malière.
(7) Continue on the path on the right without crossing the bridge and follow the green and white markings. Begin climbing among numerous prickly pear cacti. Join the discovery trail or botanical trail.
(8) Turn left to quickly return to the car park at the Collobrières cemetery (S/E).
