Signes walks

A route to Roman ruins, which is particularly interesting because it takes you through cool vegetation, ideal during hot weather. Route modified by the author on 26/12/2020.

A walk that will take you to a key site of the Resistance, through beautiful oak forests and via the Tête de la Paillette for the view.

A walk on the Siou Blanc plateau, heading for the summit of La Croix, a launch site for paragliders offering beautiful panoramic views.

On this walk you'll discover some of the locations used to film Manon des Sources and Jean de Florette (1986): the Grotte de Mounoï cave, the dried-up stream and the Villa Renard - the hunchback's house. This route will also let you discover the Vallon des Martyrs, with its monument commemorating resistance fighters executed by the SS in 1944. All along the walk you'll experience incredible Provence landscapes and the Sainte-Baume.

A pleasant little walk to the "Grotte de Manon" on the Mauregoun plateau.

A beautiful, easy and enjoyable hike on the Siou Blanc Plateau. Magnificent views and varied vegetation. From the starting point, you will descend with a beautiful view in the distance of the bay of La Ciotat. N.B. The hike cannot be done during the summer, as the road between Signes and Solliès is closed for firefighting purposes.

This is yet another hike on the Siou Blanc plateau, but it offers a beautiful view of the Aiguilles de Valbelle and the surroundings of Signes. Please note that the Chemin de Siou Blanc is closed during the summer from 15 June to 15 September.

In the Siou Blanc karst massif, a pretty loop that leads to "L'Éléphant de Pierre" (a natural curiosity) at the end of the hike. Please note: access authorisation is currently being verified (February 2015).

The Siou Blanc massif is home to numerous karstic caves and caves. This hike will allow you to discover some of them, while enjoying the landscape via very pleasant trails.

Hike to the Pyramide de Cassini and Grand Cap Gros, avoiding the noisy and unsightly Fiéraquet quarry. Moderate hike with little elevation gain.

Hike on the Siou Blanc Plateau with mostly trails. Pass by the remarkable rock formation called Éléphant de Pierre. Please note that the forest road from Solliès Toucas to Signes is closed from 15 June to 30 September. (Dates may vary from year to year depending on municipal regulations).

A short, pleasant hike or walk along a very straightforward route, offering a chance to discover the Aiguilles de Valbel and its gateway. Three-quarters of the hike is on a dirt track, followed by a short, pleasant, slightly uphill single track. Otherwise, there are no difficulties on this very easy hike.
