To get to the starting point, from Pierrefeu-du-Var, follow the D14 towards Collobrières, then at the town exit, turn left onto Chemin de Maraval. Follow this road, cross the hamlet of La Tuilière, then turn right onto Piste des Camargues. At the three-way junction, keep left, cross the small bridge and you will reach the car park a hundred metres further on.
(S/E) Set off in the opposite direction, cross the small bridge and rejoin Chemin de Maraval. Turn left, walk for 20 metres and take the path on the right.
Continue straight ahead on this path, which climbs through the vineyards. After passing through a wood, you will come to a crossroads.
(1) Turn left, still on theGR®®51, and join the road to the hamlet of La Portanière.

(2) Turn right and walk past the stopover lodge. Continue and cross this hamlet towards the hamlet of Les Rouves. Continue straight ahead towards Vallon Loubier and Piste des Perriers.
(3) At the crossroads, turn right towards the Maraval road. Ignore the paths on the right and left and stay on this track. When you reach the top of the ridge, turn right at the crossroads onto the track that descends. At the bottom, at the crossroads with the Maraval road, turn left and stay on this track, which climbs towards the bottom of the valley, running alongside the "Plaine longue" reservoirs.
(4) After a hairpin bend, continue on the track to the right (Piste de la Saute). You will find a spring as you climb under the cork oaks. At the top, you will reach the junction with theGR®®51and the Cabane des Gardes, where you can stop for a picnic and, depending on the season and with the agreement of the Pierrefeu town hall, have a barbecue.
(5) Behind the Cabane des Gardes, take the path that winds along the balcony and through the undergrowth on the north slope. Ignore the path descending to the right, then to the left and right.
Continue straight ahead until you reach the Piste des Camargues.
(6) Follow it to the right.
(7) When you reach the cistern, take the path behind it and head for the hamlet of Les Davids (S/E).
