Mainly following paths marked by the FFR, this route starts from the medieval castle of Lys-Saint-Georges (Indre) and allows you to discover its surroundings and various viewpoints.

Bélâbre, situated in the Brenne Regional Nature Park in the Indre department, enjoyed a period of prosperity in the 19th century thanks to these four elements used in its tile works, potteries and forges. Earth for raw materials (clay and ore), water to wash and moisten them and to generate energy, air to dry the moulded clay, and fire for firing. This walk offers you the chance, amongst other things, to discover some remnants of this past.

This pleasant walk takes you around the area near Lignac, as well as the beautiful castle and the picturesque village of Château Guillaume, which owes its name to William IX, father of Eleanor of Aquitaine, who built it in the late12th century.

A lovely walk starting from Chazelet, a village in the Brenne Regional Nature Park, offering the chance to explore the bocage landscapes of the Boischaut-Sud region of the Indre in the Abloux valley, along a variety of small roads, paths and trails.

This walk allows you to explore the surroundings of Faverolles-en-Berry, a town on the northern border of the Indre department, and its heritage, such as its church, the troglodyte dwellings and cellars, as well as the ‘cliffs’ and tuffeau quarries.

A lovely walk in Mauvières within the Brenne Regional Nature Park, offering the chance to explore the surrounding area, notably the hamlet of Villiers, which has preserved its historic buildings, and the Val d’Anglin, with a stunning view of the Château d’Aigues Joignant on the opposite bank.

This very pleasant hike starts on the left bank of the Creuse River in Fontgombault. It takes you to the site of the Saint-Julien Chapel and its caves, which date back to the hermit Gombaud in the 11th century. The trail then runs along impressive limestone cliffs. After passing through the village of Le Village du Bois, you arrive at Lurais and its beach. You then cross to the right bank to reach Preuilly-la-Ville and the mysterious Bois des Dubes. Finally, you will discover the unmissable Fontgombault Abbey.

This walk along narrow roads and beautiful paths allows you to explore a valley and a wild plateau, the perfect setting for a wealth of legends and spells... Highlights include: the Church of Saint-Germain in Crozon-sur-Vauvre, the Bourdessoule mill and pond, the Lande stream and its footbridge made of large granite boulders, the Oak of Not (or Nau) and the Château de la Lande.

This hike allows you to discover the surroundings of the village of Cuzion, the Chéron moor, part of the Creuse gorges that you overlook at La Roche-Bat-en-l'eau, then you follow the river to the impressive Éguzon dam and its power station.The return journey takes you to La Jarrige and its beautiful wash house, down to the mysterious Fontaine des Seigneurs, then up to the intriguing Château de Châteaubrun and the sculptures of its current owner.

This unpretentious walk starts at the foot of Bouesse Castle and the church, taking you through the surrounding countryside and past the Étang de Fontpart.

This walk near Saint-Michel-en-Brenne is a variation of route no. 60 proposed by the Brenne Regional Nature Park, entitled “Saint-Cyran-en-Brenne”.It follows small roads and paths, allowing you to discover, amongst other things, the Abbey of Saint-Cyran, built in the 7th century, and the bucolic, wooded landscapes of the Brenne, before leading to the Étang des Essarts observatory in the Chérine Reserve.
