GRP® trail markings from Valençay, also known as the Benjamin Rabier discovery trail)
(S/E) Start from Place des Anciens Combattants, near the town hall of Vicq-sur-Nahon, and follow the D15 north-west. Reach the church and then the bridge over the Nahon. At the crossroads, follow the D15 left towards Langé for 200 metres.
(1) Turn right up Chemin des Acacias. At the cross, take the carriage road north-west for 200 m. Turn left onto the road leading down to the D22.

(2) Leave the GRP® on your right and carefully cross the D22 to take the small road leading up to Château de la Moustière.
(3) At the top, walk back and forth to the entrance, then continue straight ahead on the road to the next crossroads.
(4) Turn left onto the small road. At the fork, take the left fork, then leave La Renaudière on your left and continue to the right. Pass La Doucetière.
(5) At the end of the left-hand bend, leave the road on the right and follow a grassy path that descends rapidly before climbing back up to La Giboulterie.
(6) Cross the small road and continue opposite along a narrow lane between the houses. This leads to a path that descends and then zigzags back up. At the crossroads, turn left at the edge of a wood. Leave a path on your right to join the D15, near Langé cemetery.
(7) Carefully follow the road to the right to reach the entrance to Langé, then turn left onto Rue de la Bodendière. Pass Allée des Charmilles on your right and continue to the stop sign.

(8) Turn left, cross the first bridge and turn left into the meadow. Follow the grassy path that runs alongside the Nahon, then cross the meadow on the right and follow another branch of the Nahon on the left.
(9) Cross a footbridge and follow the path on the left along the Nahon.
(10) Leave the Nahon riverbank by climbing to the right. Turn left uphill to reach a poplar grove. At the next intersection, climb to the right along a farm track.
(11) Turn right again to cross the hamlet of Pontoux. At the exit, cross the road carefully and continue along a path descending opposite. Then turn left to tackle a fairly steep climb and reach the hamlet of La Forêt.
(12) Continue along the street until you reach the first intersection (well with an explanatory sign for the Benjamin Rabier trail). Continue straight ahead, then turn left. At the cross, continue straight ahead and cross La Jouardière. Follow the small road to the entrance to the hamlet of Coubloust (castle on the right).
(13) Go down the road on the left to reach the entrance to Vicq-sur-Nahon. At the "Give Way" sign, turn right for 50 metres and go down before the bridge on the left leading to the municipal stadium. Walk along the Étang Rouy stream, passing behind the buildings, until you reach a square. Cross a footbridge on the right and continue straight ahead to reach a dead end that takes you back to Place des Anciens Combattants (S/E).
