The Pointe d'Andey offers a commanding view of all the surrounding peaks, the Glières Plateau, the Môle, the Pic du Marcelly, the Bargy mountain range, as well as the entire Arve Valley and its highest point: Mont Blanc. On the other side, on a clear day, there is a beautiful view of the Lake Geneva basin and the Jura mountains in the background.

I suggest you climb the peaks of Grand Bargy and Petit Bargy in succession in a wild environment with some beautiful panoramic views. Please note that the route includes a few off-trail sections in a chaotic environment with fairly extensive sharp limestone pavement.You will cross a ZSM (Zone of Major Sensitivity) for the protection of the bearded vulture: please read the practical information.

This is one of the most beautiful hikes in the Arve Valley, offering a wide variety of flora, fauna and geology.

A short uphill walk from the Col de la Colombiere to the lake and back. Nice scenery but can be popular.

From the Col de la Colombière, I suggest a quasi-circular ascent of the Pointe du Midi: this is a beautiful route that winds its way around the Grotte de Montarquis and Lac de Peyre. Please note: in this rather rocky environment, caution is advised around Pointe du Midi, particularly in the Cu Déri corridor just before the point (6), which is quite exposed to rockfalls. The use of a GPS is recommended (see below).

Starting from the Col de la Colombière, the Pointe de Balafrasse is a hike that passes by Lac de Peyre. Panoramic view of the Aravis mountain range and the Mont Blanc massif if the clouds are not too thick. No technical difficulties except perhaps for those who are afraid of heights after the Col de Balafrasse between (3) and .

Circular from Col de la Colombière above Le Grand Bornand. Steep slopes but what a reward when you reach the top. Avoid on rainy days or even after rain: steep and slippery. Arrive early enough to park near the pass.

A lovely circular hike starting from the Col de la Colombière, mainly on grassy terrain (the name of this peak refers to the time it takes to climb it). This hike offers superb views of the Bornes and Aravis mountain ranges. There may be flocks of sheep and patous (Swiss mountain dogs) present.

A lovely walk through great scenery which changes at different points of the walks. Good views and very quiet. Note this is not marked with the usual yellow signposts so you will need to refer to your IGN map. There are some hand-painted signs and arrows to help guide you. This walk also passes through the upland pasture with grazing sheep and the livestock is protected by dogs. Make sure you have read the information and know-how to pass flocks in a safe manner. This tour will undoubtedly allow you to spot ibex, which are often in the area, but also to observe a wide range of alpine flora, including Saint Bruno's lilies, Liotard's stars, soldanellas, and more. With a little luck, you may even spot a ptarmigan or chamois.

A very pretty snowshoe hike from Les Hauts de Puze to the Plateau de Cenise. There are superb views throughout the route.

A bucolic hike in the middle of a huge mountain pasture. The Maroli valley climbs gently to the sound of cowbells. At the top, the Crêt des Annes offers an exceptional view of the Aravis and the surrounding mountains, and the artificial lakes of Maroly and La Cour are also very charming.

A hike that will take you to Lac de Lessy, then to the Aiguille Verte du Chinaillon. The terrain is varied: mountain pastures, forests, scree, sharp limestone pavements, etc. The landscape is equally varied, culminating in the summit, which offers a 360° panorama of the Bornes, Aravis and Mont Blanc massifs. The area is also ideal for encountering the many ibexes that inhabit the massif.

From Chinaillon, this hike takes you to the summit of the Aiguille Verte, where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama and then discover Lac de Lessy at its foot.

A hike in the heart of the Aravis is always a peaceful and relaxing experience thanks to the harmony of the landscapes. However, the trails can sometimes be steep.

A circular walk starting and finishing at the ski resort of Chinaillon; between Le Grand-Bornand and the Col de la Colombiere. A varied and interesting walk with great scenery, wildlife and options to take in Roc des Tours.

The Lac de Lessy, located in a valley at the foot of the Jallouvre, Buclon and Aiguille Verte mountains, is well worth a visit. The route takes you up and down hills, offering magnificent panoramic views.

The Aravis valleys are among the classic hiking destinations in Haute-Savoie. Pointe Chombas is a little less well known. Here is a circular route through pastures, forests and rocky areas. Some sections can be dizzying, others involve a bit of climbing but are not difficult. The reward is a little-visited summit offering panoramic views of the Alps, the Jura and, of course, the Mont Blanc range in the foreground. (!) Please note: some parts of the route are challenging.

The highest point in the Aravis range, Pointe Percée is a very popular summit. The route via the Cheminées de Sallanches proposed here is more technical and less frequented than others. The route and the view are magnificent!

If you enjoy the karstic atmosphere of sharp limestone pavement, don't hesitate to undertake this fairly short hike, which offers beautiful scenery throughout. The first half follows paths, but the second half is off-trail. Choose your route carefully and don't be afraid of rocks. As a result, it takes longer than the elevation gain would suggest (3 hours of climbing). This route is strongly discouraged in poor visibility, especially for the off-trail section.

Depart from the Col des Annes, pass by the Refuge de la Pointe Percée, then by the Col des Verts. Camp at the Gouille des Fours, where ibex have made their home, with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc.

A circular walk to the Gramusset Refuge through great limestone scenery.

An easy ridge leads to the Refuge Gramusset, offering magnificent views of the valleys on the Grand Bornand and Reposoir sides, as well as the Aravis mountain range and Pointe Percée with its sharp limestone pavement.

This easy route offers beautiful views of Pointe Percée and a pleasant stop at Col des Annes, where inns and restaurants await you with regional specialities. An educational platform has also been installed with information on the karstic relief.

A lovely alternative for a walk in the mid-mountains on hot days, as it is partly shaded, not to mention the many panoramic views on various slopes.

This hike alternates between two distinct parts: the first is marked by human traces, as it explores the Grand Bornand ski area on very "rolling" paths, while the second is very exotic, exploring the south-facing slope of Mont Lachat, facing Lac des Confins and the Aravis massif. The landscapes and profile of this hike thus offer two completely different worlds and breathtaking views of the Grand Bo Valley massifs (Pic du Jallouvre, Aiguille Verte, Pointe Blanche), then the Aravis mountain range (Pointe Percée, Confins, Danay) and, in the distance, Montagne des Auges. The ascent is very steady, which is particularly pleasant! Beautiful panoramas alternate between civilisation and the calm of the mountains!

There is an alternative route to the "classic" route to Lac de Lessy, which is much less frequented. No particular difficulties (no ladders).

Pic de Marcelly offers magnificent views over the Giffre valley. The last few metres are relatively strenuous, but the view from the summit will quickly make you forget your fatigue.
