Chapelle de la Duche, Clef and Col des Annes route

Car park at La Duche, at the end of the Col des Annes road, near the chairlift departure point.

(S/E) Take the Col des Annes road towards the Chapelle de la Duche.

(1) At the chapel, take the path on your left, where you will find the second car park. Pass under the chairlift and you will soon come to a fork in the road.

(2) Turn right to reach the small hamlet of Le Vacheret, where you leave the road. From there, a path heading due east climbs towards La Clef des Annes and joins the ridge.

(3) Continue right along the ridge towards the Maroli ski lift, the highest point of the route (1,768 m). The path on your right, which starts off slightly uphill, descends to the Col des Annes. An educational platform has recently been installed there.

(4) Turn right to follow the Route du Col des Annes, descend for about 350 m to reach the junction with the Chemin de Plattuy.

(5) Follow this path, turning left. Further on, the path veers to the right and arrives directly below the Annes chairlift: directional sign.

(6) Ignore the sign for Borne Ronde and take the path downhill on your right.

(7) Head right to cross the ford over the Ruisseau de la Duche and reach the car park (S/E).

Please note: this route is not accessible in winter as the Col des Annes road is closed.

The path alongside the chairlift is muddy if it has rained in the previous days, so it is best to take the pass road for the return journey.

If it is busy, you can also park in the car park on the left near the chapel.
