An easy and very quiet hike, mostly through the woods. A few viewpoints over the surrounding forests and the sandstone rocks shaped by erosion: Roche des Druides, Roches du Corbet and Roches d'Achiffet.

Saint-Quirin is listed as one of the "most beautiful villages in France". A rich heritage of sanctuaries can be discovered in Saint-Quirin and in the parishes belonging to the priory, known as the Sept Roses route. Following this route, you will also pass by the Gallo-Roman site of Croix Guillaume.

Hilly route starting from the hamlet of Lettenbach, taking the Circulaire des Quatre Roches and the Circulaire du Vieux Château. Don't miss a visit to the Verriers Church in the hamlet, which houses the crystal rose (Route des 7 Roses, remarkable chapels and churches around Saint Quirin): Renaissance façade, bulbous bell tower topped with a golden cockerel and covered, like the roof, with larch and spruce shingles. Then explore the archaeological site of Croix Guillaume (habitats, necropolis and quarries).

A beautiful hike through the Vosges forests, on the border of three departments (Bas-Rhin, Moselle and Meurthe-et-Moselle). Pass along the Roman road and the former border from 1871 to 1918, then on to Grand Rougimont (622m), the highest point in Meurthe-et-Moselle. Descend to the ruins of Moises and return along the Saussenrupt stream via the Trou Marmot.

A walk in the Vosges foothills, under the trees and with a beautiful view of Abreschviller. I wanted to revisit a walk I used to do regularly with my parents when I was a teenager. Unfortunately, the storm of 1999 took its toll and the path has been completely washed away in places. The Club Vosgien has redefined a new route from Saint-Léon. I preferred to go back 45 years and offer you my retro walk along the original path.

A circular route following the border with Germany between 1870 and 1918 and the German and French fortifications from the First World War between Bionville and the Col de la Chapelotte.Walk along the ridge, between the rocky outcrops, blockhouses and trenches, following the Sentier de Mémoire (Memory Trail) between Roches Ganaux and Col de la Chapelotte.

A lovely, easy circular walk that takes you successively to the Roches de la Xaveure, the rugged shores of Lac de Pierre Percée and the Roche des Corbeaux with its beautiful viewpoint. The return journey follows part of the same route to Les Roches Bataillons, ending at the starting point at Les Trois Sapins.

From the Col de la Vierge Clarisse, where you leave your vehicle, you will hike between the weathered rocks and then follow a steep path that will take you to La Menelle before climbing back up to the village of Pierre Percée and finally following the peaceful banks of its lake.

This is a lovely walk that winds along the shores of Lake Pierre-Percée and leads you to the surprising Roches de la Xaveure and Marie Fontaine rock formations. As a bonus, you will pass through the charming little village of Pierre-Percée and, when it is possible again, visit the ruins of Salm Castle and its magnificent view of the lake.

A hike along the Donon fortified positions trail. From September 1914, the Vosges front stabilised on the ridges and the Donon became a defensive position of prime importance. In 1915, the Germans embarked on a colossal construction project.

A very pretty circular route around the village of Pierre-Percée. It will take you from the shores of the lake to the Château de Salm, passing through the rocky outcrops of Marie Fontaine, La Xaveure and the Sentier des Roches. You will come across a few remnants of the First World War not far from the Col de la Chapelotte and several viewpoints, including the Roche de la Soye, on a more winding and technical section, with a less rugged return via the Musée de La Ménelle and theGR® 533.

A pleasant short walk suitable for the whole family around Wackenberg, with an elevation gain of less than 100 metres.

This circuit will introduce you to an industrial and urban area of Lorraine that has been recognised as a historic monument and protected heritage site since 2014. You will also follow the Marne-Rhine Canal and six of its former locks, now replaced by a single lock known as "la grande écluse" (the big lock). The Donon massif is a unique site, steeped in mystery, whose role as a link between the Rhine plain and the Lorraine plateau has been steadily growing since prehistoric times.

Circuit passing through the peaks of Grand and Petit Donon, using the marked trails of the Club Vosgiens and theGR®5. Forestry work is taking place for one month until May 2024 between (10) and (11).

A short hike up one of the most famous peaks in the Vosges du Nord, famous for its Gallo-Roman remains and from where you can enjoy a wide panorama. The ascent is more gradual and less busy than the descent.

This route around one of the largest ponds in the Moselle department (750 hectares) will allow you to discover the freshwater flora and fauna around the Étang du Stock.

This is a 7.5 km route that alternates between forest paths, canal walks, pondside walks and even an urban section. The elevation gain is very low, and the paths are well maintained and passable even in rainy weather. There are also picnic areas and benches where you can rest. This short hike is ideal for families and presents no difficulty.

A circular hike starting from Celles-sur-Plaine, climbing up into the forest towards the three German observatories from the First World War. La Pierre Piquée, then the Pain de Sucre, passing by the Vierge de Dialtrepoix, and ending at the highest point, the Tête du Coquin, passing by the Coquin and Riangoutte fountains. From the Col de Prayé to the Lac de la Maix via La Corbeille, walk along the peaks to discover some interesting sights: cup-marked stones, remains from the First World War, views of Alsace and Donon. 16/09/2024: Starting point changed. The access road and car park at Lac de la Maix are inaccessible for an indefinite period.

With its dam, the rocks of the Xaveure, some of which are shaped like animals, its Château de Salm and the little village that bears its name, the Lac de Pierre-Percée offers landscapes with a Canadian flavour.

This first stage is probably the hardest day of the route. Beautiful views, pleasant trails and few forest roads. A steep climb at the end of the day explains the "Difficult" rating.

This hike follows part of the Sentier des Passeurs trail. It offers beautiful views of Haute Loge and the Hautes Chaumes, as well as picturesque surroundings around Lake Maix. This route is not difficult, except for its length.
