Les Deux Rivières car park on the D44 near the bridge over the stream in the Abreschviller valley (a tributary of the Sarre Rouge).
(S/E) After the bridge (coming from the north from Abreschviller), take the path for a few dozen metres, marked with a red disc, following the river to its confluence with the Sarre Rouge.
(1) After the bridge over the Sarre Rouge, take the small path on the left towards La Fesstanne (red disc). It quickly joins a forest road that follows the river. After about 1 km, you will come to a path on the left.
(2) Leave the forest road and take this path, which is still marked with a red disc. Cross the small wooden bridge and join the road (D44).
Turn right and follow the road for about 150 m, cross it (take care) and climb the path towards the R. Fourmann shelter. It heads south and joins a forest road. Follow it (same markings and direction) to the next three-way junction.
(3) At the three-way junction, follow the forest road on the left, still following the red disc. After about 1.5 km, on your right, a plaque on a tree indicates: Grossmann-Deux Rivières.
(4) At this point, leave the forest road and take a small path marked with a blue cross on the left towards Le Rocher and the Maison Forestière du Canceley.
(5) Once you reach Canceley, you can climb Rocher du Canceley by following the path on the left (about 15 minutes there and back).
Continue north, still following the blue cross signs, and after a sharp right-hand bend, you will reach the Gorge aux Sangliers forest road. Follow it to the right for a few metres, then take the path on the left that leads to the Canceley Forest House, following the same signs. This path rejoins the Gorge aux Sangliers forest road.
(6) Follow it for a few dozen metres to the right. At the bend, take the small path that descends towards the river. It is marked with a red triangle and blue cross.
You will soon come to the Canceley forest road. Follow it for a few metres to the right, then take the path that climbs to the left towards Rocher du Calice. At the top of this short climb, follow the path to the right, passing two houses. You will come to a sign indicating the location of the former Canceley Forest House.
(7) Leave the wide path and turn right to follow the red triangle markings towards Brechpunkt-Walscheid. Further on, cross another forest road and continue climbing until you reach the junction with a path marked with a green ring.
(8) From there, follow the path on the left, marked with a green ring, passing in front of a hunter's shelter, until you reach Place du Bon Dieu.
(9) Leave the Green Ring trail and continue straight ahead, following the Red Ring trail towards Le Calice. 50 metres after Place du Bon Dieu, don't miss the small path that climbs up to the right, marked with red and blue rings, to Grand Rommelstein.
(10) After Grand Rommelstein, continue on the same path to Rocher du Calice.
(11) At Rocher du Calice, continue downhill, taking the Blue Triangle trail on the right towards St Quirin. After a few dozen metres, turn left onto a forest road.
(12) Follow it to the left for a few metres, then turn right and follow the Blue Triangle markings to the Deux Rivières car park (S/E).
