Park in Place de la Mairie et de l’Église.
(S/E) Head south along Rue de la Vieille Porte until you reach Rue du Canal.
(1) Turn left, then continue to the right and cross over the canal.
(2) Take the path on the right to head down towards the canal and cross over it again via the small bridge.
(3) Turn left at the end of the bridge onto the path running alongside the canal. Cross Rue des Vosges (D44) and take the road opposite to continue along the canal on your left.
(4) Ignore Rue du Moulin on the right and carry straight on without taking the bridge on the left. Continue to the Canal Bridge.
(5) Cross the Canal Bridge and take the stairs on the right to go down to road level. Cross the road carefully to join the Greenway and follow it to the right to pass under the canal bridge. Follow the Greenway for about 2 km, until you reach the D42a.
(6) Turn left towards Hermelange. Cross over the Sarre and follow Rue de l’Église to the left. After the church, turn right onto Rue du Canal and cross over the irrigation channel.
(7) Turn left and follow the channel for about 800 m.
(8) Atthe first bridge, turn left to cross it, then right to follow the channel for nearly 2.5 km, taking a left-hand bend followed by a right-hand bend.
(9) Ignore the metal footbridge and continue to the Hesse Canal.
(10) When you reach the canal, opposite the marina, turn right onto Rue du Pont Rouge. Turn left onto Rue des Vosges (D44), cross the bridge and then cross the road carefully. Walk up the street to the left, leave the path on your right and then take thefirst street on the right, Rue du Canal.
On this street, use the pedestrian crossing and enter the alley directly opposite, between the houses. As you come out of the alley, turn right onto Rue des Jardins, then continue along Rue du Centre.
At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de la Vieille Porte to reach the church and the town hall car park (S/E).
