Car park located on the right just before arriving in Vexaincourt on the D392 coming from Donon.
(S/E) Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and take Rue Joseph Sayer, which is almost opposite.
(1) At the fire station, turn left and walk up towards the church. After the church, continue along the same road, then leave it after about 100 metres and take the path on the right marked with a blue triangle, yellow cross and yellow disc.
(2) Turn right, then a few metres later turn left onto the path marked with a yellow cross towards Col d'Asson. Cross the wider path you come to and continue straight on along the path marked with a blue horse to Col Pourrio.
(3) Continue on the wider path marked with a red disc to reach the Croix Brignon forest road.
(4) Leave the forest road and follow the path straight ahead, still marked with a red disc, towards the Roger Laederlich Refuge.
(5) Follow the forest road on the right for about 300 metres, then turn right and leave it immediately afterwards to take theGR® de Pays de la Déodatie on the left, marked with a yellow ring, red cross and blue diamond, to Lac de la Maix. You can walk around the lake in about 15 minutes (500 metres).
(6) From the lake, continue straight ahead for about 100 metres, then follow theGRP® de la Déodatie trail, marked with a red cross, which branches off to the right and leads to the Maison Forestière de la Maix.
(7) At the entrance to Vexaincourt, follow Rue du Lac de la Maix on the right. Ignore the next street and continue straight ahead.
At the intersection, turn right onto the street that passes in front of the fire station. Take thefirst street on the left, cross the D392 and return to the starting car park (S/E).
