Via the three chapels of Mazan
A hike through the different cultures of the Vaucluse, cherry trees, olive trees, asparagus, vineyards and a very beautiful, calm and relaxing route. You can see the three chapels of yesteryear and the sarcophagi in the cemetery.
Mont Ventoux will accompany you throughout the walk like a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean.
From Mormoiron to the Notre-Dame des Anges chapel
Climbing the hill of Notre-Dame des Anges from the typical village of Mormoiron offers a magnificent view of the Giant of Provence (Mont Ventoux). The varied route includes an ascent that resembles a mid-range mountain. The asphalt descent on the return journey takes you back to the village of Mormoiron, facing the Ventoux, with all the villages at the foot of the Ventoux in view: Mormoiron, Flassan, Bedoin, Caromb, Villes sur Auzon, etc.

On this safe hike, you'll admire some splendidly original landscapes, with colours ranging from blood red to golden yellow. An absolute must! Paty lake and chapel via le Barroux
A hike against the backdrop of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, taking you through the village of Barroux to admire the castle and the beautiful views of the valley. The walk then continues past Paty lake and chapel.
Les Combes and the Forest of Venasque
After passing through the beautiful village of Venasque, this route goes through several shaded valleys that are very pleasant in summer. In May, you can pick a few cherries from abandoned trees along the paths.

Combe de Capellan
Visit the rocky and airy Combe de Capellan, then the wooded and more humid Combe de la Fontaine du Rupt. Views of the Comtat and, of course, the inevitable Ventoux. At the end, you can visit the village of Venasque, a medieval gem.
The Rocher de Rocalinaud via the Graveyron
This easy route, along pleasant forest tracks, a few footpaths and quiet roads, offers remarkable views over the Carpentras plain, the Rhône Valley and as far as the Alpilles to the south, the Dentelles de Montmirail to the north-west and Mont Ventoux to the east.
This route also takes you up to the summit of the unusual Rocher de Rocalinaud, an ancient underwater dune shaped by erosion and human activity, where you can explore a beautiful cave.
Caution: take care on this rock, as it may be slippery in places.
Around Le Beaucet
This loop allows you to discover the villages of Le Beaucet and La Roque-sur-Pernes, built entirely of stone, via beautiful paths and trails.
The quarries of Bédoin
A short, easy hike starting from Bédoin. A long walk under the pine trees amid the old ochre quarries, revealing shades of red, orange and yellow.
Circular between Bédoin and Gros Pata
A moderately difficult, well-shaded circular route from the Ventoux vineyards to the Malaucène National Forest, with views of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Bédoin ochre quarry.
The hike was modified at the end of May 2021 to avoid crossing private property.

Circular starting from La Roque-Alric
The route passes successively through two peaks near La Roque-Alric to reach Le Barroux, then returns via Le Devès. It mainly consists of paths through the woods, some of which are steep, but unfortunately there is a section of tarmac road after Le Barroux.

In the footsteps of the past in Beaumes-de-Venise
A loop starting from Beaumes-de-Venise, around the hill on which the village is built, offers an interesting journey into the past.
You will discover Notre-Dame d'Aubune (12th century), its spring and its incredible bell tower, the Grottes d'Ambrosi (former millstone quarries), the oppidum des Courens where the remains of a 5th-century necropolis can still be seen, the Chapelle Saint-Hilaire (7th-12th century), the ruins of the feudal castle overlooking the baumes (caves inhabited since prehistoric times that gave the commune its name). Not to mention the superb panoramic views of the Comtat Venaissin plain to the south, the Dentelles de Montmirail to the north, and Mont Ventoux further to the east.
