Park in the car park on Chemin de la Combe de la Peyrière, between Le Beaucet and Venasque.
(S/E) Continue south-east for a few metres along this path until you reach the Y-junction.
(1) Take Chemin de la Lauze, which climbs to the left, and follow it to the La Nauque signpost. Continue straight ahead at the end of the tarmac road at the La Nauque sign. Head for the Lou Ribastié sign.
(2) Continue straight ahead, leaving the track on your right, and continue to the Fontaine du Rupt.
(3) Keep to the path heading south-east to walk through the Combe de la Fontaine du Rupt. Reach the La Genestière crossroads.
(4) Take the path on the right towards Haute Pourraque. Arrive at theGRP® Sentier Historique du Mur de la Peste crossroads at the La Haute Pourraque marker.
(5) Turn right onto this red and yellow marked trail. Pass the markers, La Petite Pourraque, then reach the Croix du Jas d'Esprit.
(6) Leave theGRP® here and turn right onto the Combe Mayaud path. After a relatively gentle descent, the path slopes steeply for a short distance, then becomes very shady among the oak trees and rocks. Reach the bottom of the combe.
(7) Turn right onto the path that climbs a little further and then slopes gently down towards La Vachère farm. At the farm, rejoin the tarmac road and continue to the right to reach Carroufra, then continue on to the original crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto the path to return to the Chemin de la Combe de la Peyrière car park (S/E).
