Parking at the sports complex in Villes-sur-Auzon.
(S/E) From the car park, head to Rue des Pierres and turn left onto this road, which connects the sports complex to the D942 (Nesque Gorges tourist route).
(1) Join this road, cross it and take the path opposite, which runs parallel to it, towards Les Escampeaux.
(2) Go under the road through a small pedestrian tunnel and continue along the Combe de l'Ermitage to the Escampeaux farm.
(3) Continue straight ahead in Combe des Escampeaux for 1.2 km.
(4) Turn right into the Ravin du Puits de Perrin via the stony path, which becomes increasingly steep.
Don't forget to admire the views of the villages at the foot of Mont Ventoux and the Giant of Provence along the way.
At the last bend, pass in front of the cistern carved into the rock of the rain water reservoir carved into rock of the Aiguier de Piérafise.
(5) Join a wide path and the Piè Gros marker. Turn left until you reach the second path on the right.
(6) After about 100 metres, you will reach the Bergerie du Pas du Loup.
The sheepfold is open and the esplanade in front of the building may tempt you to stop for a picnic.
(7) Turn left onto a small unmarked path that winds between oak and boxwood trees. Join a wider path. Turn left. After a few metres, you will find a path on the left leading to the Bergerie de Piè Gros, a magnificent dry stone building with an enclosure for animals and a rain water reservoir carved into rock. ''It is not open to visitors''.
(8) Return to the path and follow it to the left until you reach the Les Peyrards signpost.
(9) Take the path on the right that descends steeply. Turn right again 200 metres further on, then right again 50 metres further on. You will come to a crossroads.
(10) Take the leftmost path through Vallat de la Cénita, which leads to the D 942.
(11) Turn right onto the road and continue for 200 metres.
(12) Turn right onto the ascending path, ignoring the first two wider crossroads. You will reach a fork in the road.
(13) Take the path on the left until you reach the D 942 road.
(14) Cross it and continue straight ahead down the path, then turn onto the first path on the right, which leads back to the roundabout and Rue des Pierres.
(1) Turn left and head towards the sports complex (S/E).
