Ben Lomond - Ptarmigan
Circular walk to Ben Lomond summit. The first part to Ben Lomond summit is very touristic but the section going down is less as most people go up and down Ben Lomond using the same path. View over Loch Lomond is incredible.

A gorgeous circular coastal walk to visit the famous Lizard Point.
Rosthwaite to Wadendlath
Moderate circular walk to Watendlath tarn from Rosthwaite village. Watendlath tarn is a gorgeous little tarn in the middle of big summits. Great views the entire walk. Dog friendly.
Tyninghame Links and Links Wood
Short along the beach and Links Wood near Tyninghame village.
St Abbs Head
Circular walk to St Abbs Head. Great views of the cliffs and the lighthouse.
Carrock Fell
Great walk to Carrock Fell. The path to the summit is very steep but short. A bit of scrambling to reach the summit.
Castle Crag to Seatoller
Popular walk to visit Castle Crag and the little caves in the Borrowdale forest. Dog friendly. Can be a bit challenging to go up Castle Crag when raining as the slates on the path can be very slippery.
Langdale Fell
Famous walk passing by Pavey Ark, Harrison Stickle, Pike of Stickle and the well-known scrambling Jack's Rake.
⚠️Do not use Jack's rake path (between (2) and (3)) if you are not a confident scrambler. This is an open scramble that can be very dangerous. Please do not attempt it in wet conditions.
Dun Muir and Carn Mor by Ladders steps
Very quiet walk up to Dun Muir and Carn Mor by Ladders steps. This walk needs good navigation skills.
Orthwaite
Nice circular walk from Orthwaite village around Little Cockup and Great Cockup. This path is not really popular. Dog friendly.
⚠️Good navigation skill is needed as the path is not visible the entire walk.
Nether Wasdale to wastwater shore
Low level circular walk from Nether Wasdale to wast water shore. Gorgeous views of the surrounding valley, summits and wast water lake. Possible to stop for a swim in the lake. This is a dog friendly walk.
Lord's seat, Barf and Whinlatter Forest
Popular walk from Whinlatter Forest to two Wainwright's summit Lord's seat and Barf.
Dog friendly.
High Snockrigg
Challenging circular walk to High Snockrigg. Dog friendly.
Good navigation skills is needed around High Snockrigg as the path is not visible.
Around Derwent water
This dog-friendly walk is one of the most famous in the Keswick area. It is low-level with a small ascent and a great view of the surrounding summits.
