Description of the walk

Start: Walkmill Woods Car park, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven CA28 8XU

(S/E) From the car park, take the stairs (or little path) on the right hand side going down towards the river. Walk down, cross the river and then up.

(1) At the first intersection of paths turn right, and then left after a couple of meters. Continue on this path across the wood until reaching the intersection with the main path and seeing the little river in front of you.

(2) Continue straight to cross the river and enter the other side of the forest. Continue straight until reaching a large path.

(3) Turn right to walk towards the river. Cross the river and stay on this large path until reaching a gate.

(4) At the gate, turn right to take the main path that follows the river (on your right hand side). Continue straight until reaching an intersection with several paths (by a picnic table).

(5) You can either turn left to have a little longer walk or continue straight directly to the car park.
