Walkmill wood to Moresby Park

Start: Walkmill Woods Car park, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven CA28 8XU

(S/E) From the car park, take the path in front of you (North) and continue straight until you see a little bridge on your left hand side. 

(1) Turn left to walk through the forest and pass by a little pond on your left. Continue straight, reaching a path where you will turn left. Walk towards Moresby Park (West). After the first houses on your left, you should see a little path between two fences. 

(2) Turn left between the houses' garden, then turn right on the road and after a couple of meters, turn left on Moresby Parks Road. Walk straight on this road until you reach a bigger road and a bridge. 

(3) Turn left before the bridge to take the stairs going down (Do not go on the road). At the bottom of the stairs, turn left on the footpath and continue straight on this path until reaching the path of the start of the walk. 

(4) For a short walk, turn right to find the car park. Otherwise, keep walking straight to walk through the other side of the forest. The path will bend right before reaching the car park at the bottom. Keep on this main path until the car park (S/E).

Pushchair friendly: No due to the stairs at (3)  otherwise the rest of the walk is accessible.
