Stile End, Outerside, Causey Pike Summits

Start: B5292 road, Braithwaite, Keswick CA12 5TJ

(S/E) Walk up the main road in the village of Braithwaite (west) until reaching Regional route 71. Turn left to walk towards Bridge Cottage. Cross the bridge and take right. 

(1) After the bend turn left and continue on this little road (south) that will become a path. Continue straight uphill until reaching Stile End. 

(2) Turn right at the summit to walk towards Outerside summit (west then south-west). 

(3) From Outerside, walk south and then south east to find the path going up to Causey Pike. 

(4) From Causey Pike walk down then take the left path (not going to Rowling End) to go down until reaching a road. 

(5) On Newlands Hause, turn right and then after a couple of metres turn left to walk to Stairs. Cross and exit Stairs and walk on the road to Swinside. 

(6) At Swinside, turn left after the pub and continue walking on the road until Little Braithwaite. Cross the bridge.

(7) Turn right to walk on the path that follow the river. Continue straight on this path that follow the river. You will need to cross the river and then keep continuing following the river up to reaching Croft Terrace. 

(8) Turn right and keep straight to find the main road (S/E).
