(S/E) From the estate car park, head north towards Allée de la Cathédrale de Verduren. Pass a semi-buried wheel and then a statue.
(1) Turn right onto Allée de la Cathédrale de Verduren, which is lined with two ponds and leads to the castle. Turn right onto Allée des Tilleuls.
(2) When you see a wooden Parcours Bleu sign with a horse's head, turn left and, at the next Parcours Bleu sign, turn left to enter the forest. You will come to a small pond and a statue of an angel and a man kneeling. Turn left and leave the forest.
(3) Leave the Parcours Bleu by turning right. Follow a dirt track with a vineyard on your left, continue straight ahead until you reach a T-junction and turn left (ignore the tree-top adventure course on your right). Continue along this dirt track, following the Petit Réal, a tributary of the Gapeau, until you see a tarmac road (Chemin de Sauvebonne). Before that, enjoy a beautiful view to the west of Mont Coudon, which rises to 702 m, and the beautiful village of Sollies-Ville, a little further north.
(4) Turn left at the hairpin bend, walk along the greenhouses on your right, pass the Provençal farmhouse La Richaude and arrive at a T-junction just before the Jonquiére river, which is channelled at this point.
(5) Take the path on the right heading north, follow the Jonquière river lined with a row of fig trees on the left and a vineyard on the right, and you will arrive at a fork.
(6) Turn left onto a bridge over the Jonquière and follow a cypress hedge. At the end, you will arrive opposite Le Gapeau. Turn left and follow the river along a shaded path. Look out for a small oratory on the left, then further on, a large avenue lined with hackberry trees leading to the château, but do not follow it.
(7) At the tarmac road, take a dirt track on the left which runs alongside it and leads back to the car park (S/E).
