Park in the Toulon Yacht Club car park.
(S/E) Take the customs officers’ path or coastal path, bypassing the closed barriers.
(1) Ignore the steps on the left, which you will take on the way back, and continue along the coast to the small car park at Cap Brun.
(2) Head down to the left at Anse de Méjean, then continue along the beach all the way round the cove to the tiny harbour at the far end. Head back up to the left via the Chemin de la Mer and reach the roundabout.
(3) Turn left onto Avenue de la Résistance. Just before the fork in the road, turn right onto a driveway leading to some villas, which appears to end in a dead end... but a footpath continues straight ahead (although it is somewhat hidden by the vegetation). Continue right along Chemin du Pélican, then Impasse de la Bade. Then follow Bd Jean-Baptiste Abe to the left for a few metres before turning right onto Rue Théodore Botrel.
(4) Turn left into a small passage between two houses to join the cycle path along L'Eygoutier, then turn left onto it (footpath on the right-hand side for the first part of the path), and follow the path until it starts running alongside the motorway.
(5) Leave the cycle path at the bridge over the motorway and turn left onto Avenue Général Pruneau. At the junction, continue to the right, staying on this avenue.
(6) Turn left onto Chemin de la Roquette, then right onto Rue de l'Angle and continue to the end. Then turn left onto Avenue François Nardi.
(7) Turn right onto Chemin Florian. At the end of the street, first turn left then right to join Traverse Foucou, which leads onto the road of the same name; follow this to the right until you reach Avenue de la Résistance.
(8) Turn right, then left onto Boulevard de la Martille.
(9) Once at the end, turn left onto Chemin du Petit Bois, keeping to the right at the three-way junction and continuing until you reach Corniche du Général de Gaulle, which you reach by going down the stairs. Move to the left to cross at the pedestrian crossing, then take the stairs leading down to the seafront.
(1) Turn right onto the coastal path to reach the car park (S/E).
