You can park in the large car park in front of the Costebelle nursery school, on the edge of Avenue de la Font des Horts. Alternatively, park at the start of Chemin de l'Ermitage (on the left-hand side of the street), at the roundabout at the top of Montée de Costebelle, on the left (coming from Hyères town centre).
(S/E) Take the path directly opposite the car park, perpendicular to Avenue de la Font des Horts.
(1) You will arrive in front of a ruined house. Take the path on the left, heading south. After a short stretch through the forest, you will pass along some vineyards with a gate at the entrance and another at the exit, which are freely accessible. Go through the second gate and you will arrive in front of the Bastide du Plantier.
(2) Continue straight ahead southwards, leaving Bastide du Plantier on your right.
(3) At the intersection (block of letterboxes on the right), continue straight ahead downhill. Pass by the Léon Bérard Hospital.
(4) Just before reaching Avenue de la Font des Horts, turn right at a 90° angle onto Chemin Saint-Pierre des Horts and continue straight ahead until you reach the sea.
(5) Once on the D559 road running alongside the sea, turn left, heading east. After about 50 metres, leave the return path on your left, between the Pomponiana Hospital and the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Olbia. Continue a little further to admire the sea and the Giens Peninsula.
Turn around and head back to the path on the right.
(6) Take Chemin de Pomponiana northwards and join the fork near Avenue de la Font des Horts.
(4) Retrace your steps to the Bastide du Plantier fork.
(2) Turn right and join Avenue de la Font des Horts. Then turn left towards the roundabout. Cross it and return to the car park (S/E).
