Park at the Pierre Bel car park.
(S/E) Follow the water towards the town hall to the south, in the Les Minimes neighbourhood. Walk along Chemin Sainte Cécile and cross Rue Ernest Bauchiere. Then follow Route de la République.
(1) At the end, turn left onto Avenue du Char Verdun, then take the first right and the first left to find the town hall.
(2) Turn left (west) and take a path under an archway where there is an old fortification.
(1) Return via the same route to Place Pierre Bel.
Continue to follow the water northwards (water on your right).
(3) Cross the D46, follow it a few metres to the left and turn right onto the marked path that runs alongside a large pond. At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue des Gibelin.
(4) Ignore the first street on the left and when the street turns left, leave it and continue along a path. Head north, walking alongside housing developments on your right. After a few bends, you will arrive at Allée du Vieux Moulin.
(5) Follow the lane on the left to reach Avenue Amiral Orosco and turn right onto this avenue.
(6) After about 300 metres, on the right, you will find access to an underground water reserve (access authorised only with the association mentioned in the "During the hike" section). Retrace your steps.
(6) Continue north-east along Avenida Almirante Orosco. At the roundabout, continue along the same avenue (2nd right). At the fork, turn right towards La Bigoye (DFCI V17 road). Follow this tarmac road, ignoring the first path on the left and then two on the right at a hairpin bend. At the next crossroads, turn right and continue until you reach a barrier.
(7) Go through the barrier and continue on the DFCI V17 road. Follow the winding road up to the orientation table.
(8) Retrace your steps to Allée du Vieux Moulin.
(5) Leave the outward route and turn right into a small lane leading to Rue des Bonnefoy. At the crossroads, turn right then immediately left into an alleyway and wind your way through a housing estate. Turn left onto Rue des Bonnefoy then right into an alleyway parallel to Allée du Général Paul Ducourneau. At the end of the alleyway, continue south until you reach Rue des Gibelins.
(4) Turn right, then immediately left and take the same route as on the way there to return to the starting point (S/E).
