Access: head towards La Farlède, Chemin du Partégal, Chemin des Grands, Rue du Hameau des Grands, then take the first right: car park.

(S/E) Leave the car park and head towards Impasse des Tarins, which you follow to the right. At the left-hand bend, continue straight ahead along a path that enters the undergrowth.
(1) When you reach a crossroads, turn right towards a small hill, cross a wire fence and continue uphill. You will come to a large black water pipe and then a barrier.
Continue along Chemin des Fourches, passing a pumping station just before you reach the D67 road.
(2) Turn left onto the D67 (Route de la Farlède). At the rubbish bins, turn left again onto Chemin des Gaches and climb uphill.
(3) At the hairpin bend, take theGR® "Garraire des Selves" (white and red markings) opposite towards the Verdain area. At the oratory, take the first left. Ignore the red and white cross on the wall, continue up a small hill and you will arrive at the Notre-Dame du Deffens Chapel.
(4) Descend onto the main path, which heads west and then north-west.
(5) Turn left (there is a sort of step 100 metres before you reach a road) to stay in the woods, then follow the path slightly to the right. About 50 metres further on, turn left (onto what is now a mountain bike trail) to pass behind some properties, keeping in the woods.
(6) Turn right and follow the path that descends steeply into the Vallon des Lombardons. Here you will see terraces, small stone retaining walls in the stream. At the bottom of the valley, turn left and continue downhill, following an old stream.
(1) Continue straight ahead and retrace your steps along the path you took on the way up to the car park (S/E).
