Parking is available next to the skate park, football pitch and motorway in Solliès-Pont (Avenue des Oiseaux).
(S/E) Follow the Gapeau river towards Solliès-Toucas (the Gapeau river is on your left, the skate park is on your right, then the gymnastics equipment, then the Solliès-Toucas stadium). Follow the stream and pass the Toucas stadium. Cross the car park (the headquarters of the Gapeau community of municipalities is on your right).
(1) When you reach the road, turn left: Chemin des Gavaux, Chemin des Fours à Chaux, Chemin du Pont Pey. Cross the Gapeau river on the bridge (be careful, there is no pavement after the bridge). At the next intersection, turn left and continue on Chemin des Fours à Chaux.
(2) Turn right onto Chemin des Floralies. Between No. 755 and a sign saying "impasse" (dead end), take the path on the right (uphill). When you reach the junction with Route des Combes, turn left, walk a few steps and take the small path on the right that climbs uphill (small cairn). Follow this path to the cistern.
(3) When you reach the cistern, turn left. Go through the gate and then, at the junction with theGR®51, continue straight ahead uphill. Pass a tree with skulls and a grave. Continue to the junction with theGR®51.
(4) Turn left and follow theGR®51downhill. When you reach the Verdan area, cross the road and continue straight ahead.
(5) After the barrier, turn left towards Solliès-Ville. When you reach the village, cross at the pedestrian crossing.
(6) Turn left onto the D67 (Route de La Farlède), towards the castle and the church. At the roundabout, turn right onto Rue Jean Aicard. Pass under the arch and turn left onto Avenue de la Montjoie.
(7) When you reach the orientation table below the ruins of Château de Forbin, walk along the low wall on the right. Take the small path that descends to the left and then left again, pass the small green barriers and continue downhill.
(8) Pass the old wash house and spring and continue left towards Solliès-Pont. Back on the path, follow Chemin de l'Alibran et des Aiguiers opposite. When you reach the tarmac road, turn right onto Impasse des Aiguiers. After a left-hand bend, turn right onto Rue du Rocher. Pass the small car park and cross the road.
(9) Take the small path slightly to the left, then turn right to follow the stream.
(10) Return to the tarmac road and take Chemin des Rain Water Reservoirs carved into rock opposite you to the end. At the next intersection, below the motorway, turn left (Avenue Mal de Lattre). At the roundabout, take the second street on the right and return to the starting point (S/E).
