Description of the walk

Car park at the Pradet harbour master's office, Place des Oursinières, next to the Port des Oursinières viewpoint.

Arrange for a few vehicles to be waiting at the Port Saint-Louis car park for the return journey.

(S) From the car park, take Quai Cocciante on the left, then Quai de Bigors, along the port, where there are municipal toilets on the left.

(1) Leave the road and turn left towards the bay, then take the coastal path. Follow it to Crique Duan.

(2) At the roundabout, continue straight ahead, passing Plage de la Garonne and the Pradet sailing club.

(3) Leave the road on your right and stay on the coastal path, which becomes the Sentier de Belle Estello. Pass two restaurants and you will arrive at Plage des Bonnettes.

(4) Continue straight ahead on the coastal path.

(5) Pass a blockhouse, then, a little further on, you will arrive at Monaco Beach.

(6) Turn right at San Peyre and enter the woods. The path zigzags uphill until it reaches a road.

(7) Turn left, then immediately right onto the Sentier des Douaniers. When you reach a road, turn right and leave a staircase on your left. Continue for about 200 metres, then turn left onto Rue du Général Weygand. Continue to Avenue Commandant Houot, D42.

(8) Follow it to the left and pass in front of the Auberge Saint Marguerite. At the three-way junction, continue to the left, still on the same avenue, for about 100 metres.

(9) Leave the road and turn left onto a path that becomes a track. Turn right onto Chemin du Fort Sainte-Marguerite, then rejoin Avenue du Commandant Houot and continue to a roundabout.

(10) Turn left onto Chemin de la Mer. Pass Square du Docteur Bourgarel and arrive at Port Méjean.

(11) Continue right on Sentier du Littoral Cap Brun and pass Plage de l'Anse. At Restaurant l'Escale, take the stairs on the right to reach Chemin de la Batterie Basse on the right. (At the stairs, you can walk about 100 metres to the Notre-Dame du Cap Falcon Chapel, then retrace your steps). Continue to the car park.

(12) Take the PR® on the right, Sentier des Douaniers, for about 2 km to reach the water sports centre.

(13) Walk along Mourillon Beach via the Promenade Henri Fabre, then turn left onto the Littoral Frédéric Mistral. You will arrive at Port Saint-Louis, where you can collect the vehicles you brought from the Port de la Capitainerie du Pradet. (E)
