The tour of the Regrimay valley in Lentiol
A short, picturesque walk without any major difficulty, but only to be attempted in dry weather (there is a ford which can be tricky).
From the Feytaux plateau to Terres Blanches
An easy walk on the moraines overlooking Lens Lestang.
You alternate between walking in the woods and in open country. On the way there, you can see the Pilat and Ardèche mountains and the Beaurepaire plain.
On the way back, as you turn around, you can admire the peaks of the Vercors, the Alps, the Chartreuse and Mont Blanc (weather permitting...).
From the pear trees of Valloire to the Château du Double
You will cross the Valloire plain, surrounded by fields and orchards in Lens Lestang, until you reach the Priory of Manthes. Information boards tell you about mulberry and pear trees. Then you climb up to the Madone de Moras and return along a path well sheltered from the sun, along the moraine. On the way, you can admire the Château du Double.
From Montfalcon to the chapel of Serrein
Hike from Montfalcon to the Chapel of Serein in Saint-Clair-sur-Galaure through countryside and woods.
This hike is a longer version of the hike from the Chapel of Serrein to Montfalcon Castle, with different routes.
Les Hauts de Marcollin from Lens-Lestang
This route is very pleasant in summer due to the coolness of the undergrowth. In spring and autumn, it offers a diversity of colours and scents for our visual and olfactory enjoyment.
There are several points along the route where you can enjoy views of the Beaurepaire plain.

Bonne Combe - Porte de Drômardèche
Right from the start of the route, you will have a great time on a fun little trail along the river. The only climb, which is a little long, will take you to the highest point of the circular route, offering you a beautiful view of the Hauterives valley.
In the footsteps of Facteur Cheval
This route takes you across fields, but very often on small tarmac roads, allowing you to discover what the environment of Facteur Cheval might have been like. Perhaps some parts of the route were even part of his daily rounds!
Walk in the land of Facteur Cheval
This varied walk first winds along the Galaure river before climbing up the hill. It meanders through the woods before returning to the village of Hauterives, in front of the Palais Idéal. Read the practical information before setting off. There is a ford to cross. If you wish, you can shorten the route and do only a 7 km circular route.
From Thodure to Le Nid
An easy walk in the heart of the Dauphiné countryside. It offers beautiful views of the Pilat peaks and, on a clear day, some views of the summit of Mont Blanc.
Circular route starting from Beaurepaire, following the Oron stream.
An easy hike that all Beaurepairois should know about. It follows the Oron stream and is flat.
Suitable for cycling or walking with the family.

Route des Petites Poulettes
An easy walk, ideal for those who dislike hills. On a clear day, you will have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, from the summit of Mont Blanc to Pilat, via Chartreuse, the Alps and Vercors.
From Manthes to the Château du Double
An easy walk, ideal in spring when the fruit trees are in bloom. Several points of interest for children.
On the way, you can see the priory of Manthes, visit an extraordinary garden created by a disciple of the facteur Cheval, tour the Château du Double and search for a riddle.
Circular Saint-Barthélemy in Beaurepaire
An easy hike well known to Beaurepairois, with beautiful views of the surrounding area and the Alps.

Ambouchet Route
This is a good walk to do when the paths are muddy. It mainly follows small asphalt roads with little traffic. It offers beautiful views of the foothills of the Massif Central.
Short walk in Beaurepaire
A walk well known to Beaurepairois residents: the first 500 metres are very popular with families with children. For a brisk walk, it takes between 20 and 25 minutes at a steady pace, and for walkers, allow 30 to 40 minutes.
The Grand Suzon valley
An easy walk, despite the distance. You will walk either through the heart of the plateau's crops or through woods. To finish, you will descend the very pretty Grand Suzon valley. The stream is often dry, but... not always!
If the weather is clear, you can enjoy some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.
From Moras-en-Valloire to the Mantaille Forest
A very pleasant route, with woods offering a variety of flora and scents that change with the seasons. The different slopes offer beautiful views.

This is the May Day hike with its sprigs of lily of the valley and beautiful views.
Chambaran and Mouchet Route
A pleasant walk through the heart of the valleys of northern Drôme. There are two climbs on the route, but nothing too difficult.
From the Côtes du Suzon to the Bas Pommier de Beaurepaire
A lovely walk through forest and open countryside, suitable for all seasons. In wet weather, wait a few days as this route crosses the Suzon riverbed. Although close to Saint-Barthélémy and Beaurepaire, the section along the Suzon offers a very pleasant feeling of being in the countryside, far from civilisation. A 10 km or 8.2 km walk – see practical information.

From Viriville to Marnans
This walk takes you around the small La Pérouse valley between Viriville and Marnans. On the way there, you climb up to the Madonna of Sainte-Baudille.
Les Feytas
In the Drôme des Collines, at Saint-Laurent-d'Onay, a lovely circular route that alternates between woodland, countryside and hilltops (known as ‘faite’, ‘feste’ or ‘feyta’ in the south-east). Beautiful views of the Vercors.
The Bois des Burettes tour
A short walk in the heart of the Bièvre plain. An oasis of calm and greenery.
Wallaby circuit
A short walk in the heart of the Pajay plain, but which climbs the hill at the end. It takes place on small, quiet roads or good gravel paths.

Discover the old tramway line linking Saint-Marcellin (38) and Lyon (69).
From Dionay to Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye
You walk along the foothills of the Chambarans until you reach the unmissable medieval village of Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye with its famous abbey. You have constant beautiful views of the northern barrier of the Vercors.
The only difficulty is the high mileage.

This hike offers fabulous views of the Vercors and the Drôme hills, alternating between undergrowth and wild sunken paths. Suitable for all seasons.

In the region famous for walnuts, along the tracks of the old tramway from Lyon to Saint-Marcellin and among various church buildings.

From the village of Sardieu to the Bois des Burettes
A lovely, easy walk (no elevation gain) in the heart of the Bièvre plain. On a clear day, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. You will also pass by the charming ponds of the Bois des Burettes.
Boucle de Dionay depuis Saint Antoine l'Abbaye
Une boucle qui permet de rejoindre Dionay par la Combe de l'Enfer, la voie du tram et le retour par Saint-Jean de Fromental. Une belle ballade en famille pour découvrir la nature et le patrimoine.
