Park near the water tower or in the hamlet of Le Bourg.
(S/E) Follow the D265 road to the Chemin de Hurl'vent junction. Turn left onto this path leading to the Hurl'vent horse riding centre. Take the path branching off to the left downhill before reaching the riding centre. Follow the path down to the tarmac road. Continue right along the road for about 100 metres.
(1) Follow the path that climbs to the right, enter the woods and continue to the next junction.
(2) Take the path on the left and follow it for about 850 m. You will come to a crossroads (Barbanteine hiking signpost – 502 m).
(3) Take the path on the left that descends towards the south-east. Before reaching a house, find the path branching off to the right and follow it for 300 m to a clearing, then continue along the path on the left heading due south until you reach the edge of the woods.
(4) Turn onto the path on the right. Walk along the edge of the woods, then re-enter the woods after about 250 m. Continue through the woods until you reach the fork (elevation 492 m).
(5) Turn left onto the main track. Follow the main track (fields on the right, woodland on the left) until you reach the tarmac road D513.
(6) Walk along the right-hand side of the D513 until the next junction, turn right onto the road (Impasse de Chambaran) and follow it for just over 100 m.
(7) Take the path branching off to the right. Continue along this path for over 800 m until you reach the crossroads (Philigon hiking signpost).
(8) Follow the main path on the left heading north-east for 50 m and reach the Poteau Barbanteine junction.
(3) Follow the path leading off to the left. After about a hundred metres, stay on the path as it turns right. Continue along this path, crossing a clearing. The path gradually descends towards the River Limone. You will then reach the D 265.
(9) Follow the road to the left, cross the bridge. Follow the Chaffaure path (signposted) and immediately turn right onto the path leading off (eastwards), following it to WP 10.
(10) Cross it via the stone bridge, then head back up to the tarmac road and follow it to the small path that branches off to the left halfway up the slope.
(11) Continue straight on to the main road.
Turn right to enter the hamlet of Le Bourg and return to the starting point (S/E).
