Discover a wild and peaceful valley that contrasts with the festive atmosphere of the huge leisure area of the adjacent campsite. Descend via a small, damp path along the stream, then climb back up a very stony but well-shaded path. Not recommended for young children due to the rocky terrain.

A very pleasant, easy walk through the heath between dry stone walls, with the option to explore the Neolithic necropolis and the Bourbouillet resurgence cave if you wish. Magnificent in spring when white yarrow blankets the landscape, dotted with pink, yellow or blue from other flowers. An easy walk along small roads, exploring the lavender fields and vineyards against the backdrop of the Dent de Rez.

Discover the Lézert stream, which flows through a mass of large granite boulders. The path winds its way up through the boulder field in a damp, cool forest, even in summer. To avoid a return journey, head back via a small, traffic-free road that allows you to make a short detour to see the precariously balanced Roc du Baptistou.

These fortifications were built in the mid-14th century to protect the town from bands of looters. A magnificent village where every street is worth exploring.

This is a short, easy circular. The walk starts at the former monastery of Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez and climbs up to Pavezin, mostly along small tarmac roads, before descending via a pleasant grassy path. Both the ascent and the descent offer superb panoramic views.

A walk along the Alzon river allows you to discover the source of the Eure, which was captured by the Romans to supply Nîmes with drinking water via the aqueduct. The remains are still visible. The walk then climbs to a magnificent viewpoint offering a wide panorama of Uzès.

Explore the Lens woodland and its white stone quarries, which were used for numerous buildings. There are many Roman quarries in this area. Lens stone is hard, white, very fine-grained, and highly prized by stonemasons and sculptors.

An easy climb to the fortress along gently sloping paths. Explore the ridge path of the Uchaux massif.

The old quarries are not open to visitors for safety reasons: in this area, do not stray from the paths as there are large holes in the ground. The Massif d'Uchaux offers spectacular views, particularly of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail.

Discover two rivers via beautiful green trails covered in flowers in spring, but watch out for mosquitoes. Enjoy the stunning Chute du Tombereau waterfall and cross vineyards and olive groves.

This is an easy, short walk on good stony paths. There are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Tip: best done in mid-May when the broom is in bloom. Be careful, there is little shade, so avoid the hottest times of day.

An easy, short walk along the River Camfrout, offering views of the exterior of a pretty castle and the chance to visit a small, beautifully renovated chapel. Discover an Iron Age menhir that was Christianised in the Middle Ages.

Walk along the top of the cliffs facing the open sea. In centuries past, fortifications were built here to protect the Bay of Brest. The path crosses the moor. The return journey is inland.

A truly exceptional route along the banks of the Aber Wrac'h, surrounded by herons and egrets. Granite boulders rise out of the ground and oak trees cling to the small cliffs of brownish-yellow silt. Be careful, this scenery has to be earned as the bank is very muddy and slippery. Be sure to wear waterproof shoes or boots and bring walking sticks to avoid slipping. Check the tide times carefully and plan to set off two hours before high tide. As a guide, it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the Devil's Bridge.

This walk takes you through the countryside towards La Chapelle-de-Surieu. A few tarmac roads with little traffic. At the top, sweeping views of the Monts du Pilat on one side and the Vercors range on the other. Meadows and cultivated fields. Please note: there is a ford across the Sanne; avoid this during periods of high water.

Explore the Roussillon leisure area and its pond. Walk along the Edit trails. Cross the River Sanne via a footbridge to avoid the ford. Please note that part of the return journey runs alongside the D131C road. This route is not suitable for those who dislike tarmac roads.

The town of Roussillon has created a network of trails named “de l’édit” in memory of the edict issued in 1564 in Roussillon, which established1 January as the start of the year throughout France. These trails are perfect for family walks, with no difficulty, no elevation gain and very little tarmac. They pass through apple orchards and quite varied landscapes. The names of the trails are indicated on signs put up by the town of Roussillon.

A stroll to enjoy the fresh air along the banks of the Rhône. There is no elevation gain; the path runs alongside the Viarhôna, the cycle route from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean, before returning inland. The banks of the Rhône at this point are densely vegetated. It is a peaceful, easy walk.
