A magnificent hike on vertiginous trails in the Dévoluy Massif, offering splendid panoramic views of the surrounding mountains throughout the entire route. A real breath of fresh air.
Hikers beware: this route is for experienced hikers only and a helmet is mandatory. It is also advisable to only attempt this hike in good weather.
Prentiq chalets

An enriching hike to discover the traditions and history of this small valley. Follow a path along the stream to reach Prentiq (near the old houses), a haven of wild beauty with traces of pastoral life. Discover a hamlet where only two huts remain, along with ruins and dry stone walls that bring to mind the traditions of yesteryear. On the way back along the track, you will be treated to beautiful views of the valley.
Cabane du Sellar via the Chalets du Prentiq

A wild trail leads you up a gentle slope following the Prentiq valley to the Cabane du Sellar. Surrounded by mountains, this place is a true haven of peace, where only the sounds of nature welcome you.
From Valsenestre to the Cabane de la Cantine des Carrières

Splendid view of the mountain cirque culminating at the Roche de la Muzelle. Walk through the cool woods before arriving at a gallery of peaks in the Écrins. You will follow the Torrent du Béranger for two-thirds of the hike.
The Confolens Waterfall from Le Périer
A lovely, cool walk to a remarkable waterfall. On the way back, don't miss the viewpoint over the valley with the ruins of the Château du Serre de la Casse. There are still a few houses in Confolens. You can go further than the waterfall and reach (after a few hours!) the GR®54B ridge walk overlooking the Lauvitel.
Valette loop via Fontagneux

A pleasant hike at the foot of the Piquet de Nantes and the Tabor, with beautiful views of the Obiou and the Grand Armet, passing through three lovely streams, then descending through the village of Fontagneux to change mountain ranges and walk at the foot of the Grand Armet, this time, and see the Tabor. The passage through old hamlets is also very pleasant for lovers of old stones.
The Col de l'Ardouère loop from Molines-en-Champsaur
The steep slope on the right bank of the Séveraissette valley is home to the trail crossing the Col de l'Ardouère, which winds boldly through the rugged terrain of a complex and grandiose landscape. Be careful! While the climb up the eastern slope is accessible, the descent down the western slope has some exposed, even vertiginous sections where the slightest slip could be fatal.
The Col de Font Froide via the Cabanne de Peyron Roux
The final destination of this almost round-trip itinerary, the Col de Font Froide offers an exceptional view of the Écrins massif. In the distance: Barre des Écrins, Pic Coolidge, Ailefroide, Les Bans... And nearby: Pic de Colle Blanche, Brèche de l'Homme Étroit, Tête de Mal Cros, Pointe des Moutières, Pic de Parières, Aiguille de Morges. Far below: the Navette valley in Valgaudemar. A high mountain atmosphere is guaranteed on this pass, which is accessible via a footpath!

Rif Bruyant lake

A very pleasant hike. First along the Rif Bruyant stream, through beech and then fir and larch forests, and finally in a high mountain setting in the middle of the Cirque du Coiro.
Well-marked trails make the elevation gain on this hike easier.
Infournas, Col du Cendrier, Crête le Barry and Col de l'Escalier loop trail

At the gateway to the Massif des Écrins, near Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur, this superb loop hike begins with a gentle ascent through a magnificent larch forest. Along the way, the lush green vegetation accompanies you to the foot of the Col du Cendrier, where the slope gradually levels out. The effort is rewarded by a wide panoramic view of the Massif des Écrins.The traverse of the Crêtes du Barry adds a welcome technical touch, giving the route an extra touch of character. The return, via the Pas and then the Col de l'Escalier, is on a pleasant, flowing path.A beautiful hike, where the spring flora comes into its own with every step.
Notre-Dame de Bois Vert - Les Farelles, via Clot de Ventecul

The Lac du Lauzon

A magnificent walk, although the slopes are sometimes quite steep on both the ascent and descent. The landscapes and flora are remarkable.
Piquet de Nantes and Tabor circuit

The Piquet de Nantes (2,215 m) and the Tabor (2,389 m) near La Mure in Isère are the two highest peaks in the Tabor massif and can be reached separately, but the route proposed here connects the two peaks via a trail that gives an almost high-mountain feel while being easy and very pleasant. It takes only an hour and offers a circuit with beautiful views of the Matheysine lakes and the surrounding mountains.

Le Sénépy

A magnificent hike 35 km from Grenoble, with no difficulty, offering 360° views of the surrounding mountains.
The climb to this summit is a magnificent hike through the mountain pastures (one of the largest in the region).
The ammonite slab at Rochers de la Baume, starting from La Cluse
A hike in the wild Abéou valley, at the gateway to the Dévoluy, dominated by the Tête and Roc de Garnesier peaks and the long ridge that runs from Haut Bouffet to Chauvet. The fun climb up the Torrent des Plates leads to the Rochers de la Baume, where you can discover a slab of ammonites. The descent is via the pastoral path, partly through the forest. A short detour allows you to make a round trip in the pleasant Leyvay canyon, which features several pools, ledges and waterfalls.

Écrins - 2 days around the Refuge de la Muzelle

Loop in the Écrins National Park. Tour of the Aiguille de Venosc via the Lauvitel and Muzelle lakes, then the Vénéon Valley.A rich and varied itinerary! It is relatively long. It can be done in two days by spending a night at the Refuge de la Muzelle or bivouacking near the refuge.
