The church/cemetery car park in Quet-en-Beaumont (le Bas) can easily accommodate five to seven vehicles.
(S/E) The hike begins by going around the church on the left and then immediately turning right onto the road towards Corps for a little over 600 m until you reach a sharp left-hand bend.
Then take the path on your right that winds down towards Corps.
(1) At this intersection, descend about a hundred metres to your right for a round trip to the bridge over the Sézia. Back at the intersection, continue downhill until you reach a wider track.
(2) Take this track on your right; it will quickly become a path running alongside the Sézia.
You will come to a clearing that has been turned into a picnic area.
In addition to leisure facilities, this clearing is home to the remains of the old Moulin de Pirou mill, just a stone's throw from the Sézia river. Take the opportunity to explore the area and read the information provided on the visitor panels.
Leave this area by continuing along the path running alongside the right-hand wall of the old mill.
Further on, cross a metal footbridge over a tributary of the Sézia, the Claret Anglot stream.
Continue on your way until you reach the next intersection.
(3) Ignore the path going up to the left and head right towards the hamlet of Pâques, just over a kilometre away. You can reach it by taking this corbelled path to the road leading to the hamlet.
(4) Take this road up the hill on your left, go around the first hairpin bend to the left and cross the hamlet of Pâques until you reach the next hairpin bend to the right.
(5) Then leave the road via the track on your left, towards Quet-en-Beaumont, and follow this track for about 200 metres.
At the end of this track, take the path downhill on your left to reach Champines and Versannes.
(6) Continue in the same direction, ignoring the path on your left.
After a series of ascents and descents and after crossing the Claret Anglot stream via a wooden footbridge, you will reach a wide downhill track at a place called Les Anglots.
(7) Take this track on your left.
(8) After 200 metres, you will come to an old winegrowers' shelter slightly below you: feel free to visit and discover the tools of the trade from days gone by. Be careful not to miss the passageway.
After this themed stop, continue along the track in the same direction. You will pass through the old vineyards, Les Vignes du Clos. This will take you back to the route you took on the way there.
(2) Leave the trail and take the path on your right. You will come to the intersection leading to the bridge you visited at the start of the hike.
(1) Take the winding path up to your right and rejoin the road, then the church/cemetery car park (S/E).
