The Pointe de la Revellata is a fairly easy but quite long walk. It takes a little over 3 hours there and back. Wear good shoes and be careful of the strong sun in summer.This is a lovely hike, not to be missed if you are staying in Calvi, offering magnificent views of the citadel of Calvi.The site is home to rare, endemic and protected plant species, the most emblematic of which is Armeria soleirolii.

Two pretty lakes hidden at the bottom of a very pleasant valley – that’s the setting for this walk! A forest track takes you round the large lake, bordered by woods and meadows. Suitable for pushchairs.

Set against a dreamlike backdrop, between Lakes Vouglans and Coiselet, lies the climb to the Chancia viewpoint.This challenging route, exceptional for its elevation gain and technical trails, will take you along Lake Vouglans and above Lake Coiselet.Feel free to catch your breath at the viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view over the Ain Valley, before tackling the climbs.

Look at the trees, the shape of the stones and the landscape. That way, you won’t get lost and you’ll always find your way back.Let the children look for the clues and, above all, don’t get lost yourselves.

A route through the hills, with stunning views of the surroundings of Moirans-en-Montagne. Sections across the Jura mountains, with clear views, interspersed with sections through the undergrowth and amongst boulders. A very varied, fairly challenging hike.

In the Jura, the forest covers most of the region. This forest-themed walk is a great opportunity to soak up the atmosphere. Along the route, there are several lovely views, such as the path to the Fyète well—a geological feature typical of karst landscapes—as well as fountains, wash houses and a bread oven.

The proposed route, starting from Grand Châtel, aims to reach Saint-Romain de Roche via very little-used, unmarked paths and to traverse the plateau overlooking the Bienne valley. Part of the route involves a steep climb (somewhat challenging). As a result, it has been classified as difficult. Please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear and have hiking poles. The section on the plateau is fairly easy and offers some lovely views.

From the Lavans-lès-Saint-Claude fitness trail, you’ll reach the lower section of the Lizon Gorges by crossing the tram viaduct. Walking alongside the Bienne, you’ll find yourself in the heart of a magnificent natural setting as you make your way to the Pas de l’Âne and the Roche Lezan. This is also a lovely route for trail running enthusiasts.

Head off to explore the Scia viewpoint. At an altitude of 800m, this remarkable natural site offers views across the entire Lizon Plateau near the Annuelle Forest (GR® trail). It is equipped with an orientation table and picnic facilities. Then head to another natural site: Lac d’Antre.

This long route, starting from Le Lison and best undertaken in good weather, will take you all the way to Avignon-les-Saint-Claude, walking over the "Tête du Gaulois" which overlooks the Plan d'Acier industrial estate.On the way back, you can admire the Lison hillsides from the Ponthoux viewpoint and cool off in the Lison Gorges.

A circular route starting from Martigna and passing by four viewpoints overlooking the lakes of Chanon and Vouglans.From the top of their cliffs, the viewpoints invite us to contemplate the lush greenery and the reflections or sunsets on these lakes.

The village of Chancia, dating back to Roman times, stretches lazily along the lake formed by the junction of the Bienne and Ain rivers and the Coiselet reservoir. Here, everything encourages relaxation. On this route through the hills above Chancia, you will be enchanted by this little corner of paradise.

On this pleasant route, there's no question of getting lost, but rather of enjoying the landscape and this world apart that opens up under the green shade of its remarkable trees, sublime clearings, refreshing waterfalls, breathtaking viewpoints and mysterious caves. A pleasant route on the slopes of Mont Robert, interspersed with sections through the undergrowth, offering unobstructed views of Moirans-en-Montagne.

This beautiful, mostly shaded route offers views of several waterfalls, each as pretty as the next, as well as a cave open on the side of a cliff with a spring flowing from it. The vegetation is very diverse and you can see the tireless work of water on the rock.

On this fairly challenging route, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and sounds of the Bienne valley. A fairly challenging route, but the scenery is well worth the effort.

A route for the eyes but also for the ears. No fewer than three viewpoints with superb views of the villages of Ravilloles and Leschères, and to top it all off, one of the most beautiful acoustic sites in the Haut-Jura, where you can discover the pleasure of listening intently during this walk. PLEASE NOTE:The GR®9is closed to all traffic, including pedestrians, from 15 July to 15 December 2020 due to forestry work between "sur la côte" (9) and "sur le château" (1).

A pleasant little outing to discover this waterfall, which cascades down a sixty-metre drop in two stages. These drops, each around thirty metres high, are spectacular when it has rained. This is therefore an outing to do after a period of rain if you want to enjoy the scenery offered by one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Haut-Jura.

How beautiful France is if you take the time to look...On this route around the northern part of Lake Vouglans, with short, fairly steep climbs and descents as well as long, gentle climbs through the forest, you’ll have the chance to appreciate just how beautiful France is, thanks to the stunning Jura landscapes surrounding Lake Vouglans.This route is quite demanding physically but not overly technical. If you can, do this route on an e-MTB.

Walking along the western part of the Giens Peninsula on the coastal path is a feast for the eyes, with a succession of islets, coves and beaches, sometimes appearing behind the branches of tall pine trees.This is a fairly challenging route that follows some spectacular trails.

Hiking in Porquerolles at a peaceful pace surrounded by unspoilt nature. Just twenty minutes by boat from Hyères, the island has a rich and fascinating history dating back centuries. In Porquerolles, you can hike at a moderate pace through shady forests, vineyards and olive groves, wild coastlines and idyllic beaches. It is in this incredible setting that I invite you to discover this little gem of the Îles d'Or.

It’s a strange sight: this empty harbour, almost dry, with its stranded jetties and exposed tree roots. The low water level of Lake Vouglans means you can walk with dry feet or cycle along the banks through a somewhat lunar landscape, where the water usually lies.This mountain bike route, best enjoyed in October, will reveal a different side to Lake Vouglans, its harbour and its surroundings, adorned in their most beautiful autumn colours.

Around Lac d'Antre, its sinkhole and the resurgence of the Héria, one of the most important sanctuaries in Gaul was established between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD. It is through the cult of water that I invite you to discover the ancient city of Antre, its Gallo-Roman remains, its resurgences and its cliff perched 962 m above the lake, Please note: due to bad weather and tree-felling work around Lake Antre, access around the lake and to the Belvédère is prohibited. When facing Lake Antre, you must head for points (3) and (6) and avoid points (1), (2), (4) and (5).

A few kilometres from Lille lies a green oasis: the Phalempin Forest. Although modest in size (670 hectares), this forest is a rejuvenating place for hiking. Despite its small size, the forest boasts great biodiversity and legends. Once upon a time, in the village of La Neuville, on the edge of the Phalempin Woods, there was an inn called Leu Pindu with an unusual sign. It's up to you to discover the rest!

Located in the heart of the mining basin, the Bois des Hautois in Oignies is a preserved site where hiking trails wind their way between slag heaps, ponds and pastures. The suggested route is situated in the immediate vicinity of the former 9-9 bis pithead, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 30 June 2012, and whose metal headframe is never far from view, helping you to find your way along the route.

Leaving the village and crossing the woods via the Sentier des Amoureux trail, you will discover Lake Lamoura, set in lush green countryside punctuated by the red hues of the surrounding peat bog, where the waters of the highest natural lake in the Jura mountains glisten. The trail goes around the lake. A wooden deck allows you to cross the wetlands and bog without damaging these fragile environments.

Under the pine trees, immerse yourself in a Mediterranean atmosphere and marvel at the turquoise waters of Lake Vouglans stretching as far as the eye can see. Let the grains of sand covering the beaches caress your skin. The only thing missing from this picture is the taste of salt on your lips to make you believe in this unlikely little sea in the mountains. This easy walk from the port of La Mercantine will take you to Maisod Castle and along Lake Vouglans

Located in the heart of the forest in a most peaceful setting, the three lakes, the "Petit", the "Grand" and the "Lac de la Fauge", are home to flora and fauna characteristic of wetlands. A nearby trail offers a panoramic view of the lakes and the village of Étival from the lookout point.

Starting from the workers' village of Dortan, this walk takes you through the Bois de Chatelard forest to the Pierre-qui-Vire and its rocky promontory overlooking Lac de Coiselet. Then, in the intimacy of a rocky cirque at the end of a shady valley, you will discover the waterfall of the Ruisseau de Maissiat, which has been building a pyramid of tufa for thousands of years.

There is nothing monotonous about this route: you run or walk across a huge site, skirting an agricultural area here, old paths lined with sweet peas and wild blackberries there, sheltered by undergrowth or alongside a large pond. And without even noticing, you arrive at the foot of the old conical slag heap on the border between Nord and Pas-de-Calais. To reach the top, it takes a little more effort, but it's worth it because once you're at the top, the view is exceptional!

Immortalised by the film "Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis", the small town of Bergues is much more than just a film set. Bergues is a small fortified town: its ramparts, over 5 km long, date back to medieval times or were built according to Vauban's plans. Bergues also stands out for its remarkable monuments, such as its belfry, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, and the remains of Saint-Winoc Abbey.

This circular allows you to admire the rich natural landscapes and mining heritage of the region. During this walk in the great outdoors, you will follow "les cavaliers", the old railway tracks of the Compagnie des Mines that connected all the mine shafts and slag heaps in the region when mining was in full swing. An excursion combining nature and history, to be discovered without delay!

It was created to protect the irreplaceable water-capturing fields in the south of the Lille metropolitan area.Numerous facilities welcome visitors, encouraging them to respect the fragile environments.A pleasant ride along the Deûle and the Wavrin Marshes. An easy route offering a mix of riding on stony paths, towpaths and through the park.

A pleasant, quiet route with a few technical sections, suitable for mountain bikers in good physical condition!It is definitely preferable to complete this route in the suggested direction, as some slopes are more difficult when ridden in the opposite direction.

The ancestral seat of the Prussian royal family and the Princes of Hohenzollern, Hohenzollern Castle is one of the most visited castles in Europe. Perched on a high hill in Swabia, the building, adorned with numerous towers, has a picturesque, medieval appearance when viewed from a distance. The view from Hohenzollern Castle is well worth the detour, though you’ll need to be prepared for a brisk 20-minute walk to finally reach the castle.

The Boucle des Riez is located in the commune of Bauvin in northern Hauts-de-France, on the edge of the Pas-de-Calais. This pleasant route takes you along the Deûle Canal, through the two Riez Marshes and to the Île aux Saules. Numerous picnic tables await walkers by the lakes.

This circular route, steeped in history, invites you to discover a historic site paying tribute to the 11,000 who died during the capture of Vimy Ridge in April 1917. You’ll skirt the Vimy National Forest, where you can see the land scarred by shells. The Canadian National Vimy Memorial also offers a breathtaking view of the mining basin and the Artois hills

This easy circular route takes you on a discovery of the Carency valley and the commune of Souchez.You will appreciate the role of the embankments, which are essential for agriculture, and admire several buildings that were rebuilt identically after the village of Souchez was completely destroyed during the First World War.
