(S) From your bivouac site, follow the Dielsdorf-Noschikon path north-east, then turn right to reach the signpost on Neeracherstrasse, opposite the KFL SPORTHORSES stud farm.
(1) Turn left (north-east) onto the footpath and continue until you have passed the high-voltage power line by about 100 metres.
(2) Cross Neeracherstrasse with caution, then take Chemin Dielsdorf-Noschikon at the signpost. Pass the RM Motorsport car repair shop, leave Chemin Dielsdorf-Noschikon and turn right (south) onto Chemin Niederhasli Kirche-Riedt. Continue to the first intersection.
(3) Turn right (southeast) and continue to the second intersection.
(4) Turn right, then take the left-hand lane in front of the old oak tree. Keep the allotments on your right until you reach a stop sign in the village of Niederhasli.
(5) Turn left onto Nöschikonerstrasse heading northeast, pass the allotments, then a stud farm before reaching the edge of Trochenriet wood at elevation 414.
(6) Cross this wood in a north-easterly direction, then, after a right-hand bend, you will reach Eschenbergstrasse, located on the outskirts of the town of Niederglatt.
(7) Turn right to walk along the fields on your right, then turn left (follow the sign) to continue on Eschenbergstrasse. Follow this street to the stop sign at the intersection with Sonnenbergstrasse.
(8) Cross this street with caution, then continue straight on Seeblerstrasse until you reach an intersection with a sportswear shop. Turn left to drive alongside the fields on your left before reaching a roundabout opposite Niederglatt station.
(9) Turn left onto Bahnhofstrasse and continue to the stop sign at the intersection with Zürcherstrasse. Turn right towards Gewerbezone Süd, go under the railway bridge, then continue to the first intersection with a directional sign.
(10) Turn left, then follow the River Glatt on your left until you reach the Forbuck Bridge (you can stock up on supplies at the Lidl supermarket as you enter Hofstetten).
(11) Head towards Oberglatt, cross the bridge, then turn right to follow the Glatt on your right. Follow the meandering river until you reach the bridge in the town of Oberglatt.
(12) Carefully cross Bülachstrasse, then follow the banks of the Glatt to the covered bridge in Hirschen, whose architecture is worth seeing.
(13) At the signpost, turn left towards Grafschaft/Seeb. Stay on Grafschaftstrasse heading north-east and continue to the signpost located after an agricultural equipment supplier. Then turn left towards Seeb and continue to the stop sign at the intersection with Bülachstrasse.
(14) Use the pedestrian crossing on the right to safely cross Bülachstrasse, then continue straight ahead on the path through the fields towards Seeb. At the intersection of the paths, turn right and continue to the Petit Chalet (self-service farm products, with a view of Zurich Airport opposite).
(15) First turn right then left to continue along Bülachstrasse and walk to the intersection before a bridge. (Here,after carefully crossing Bülachstrasse , you will find a rest area with a view of the runways at Zurich International Airport and toilet facilities).
(16) Cross Bülachstrasse carefully, then continue south-east on the tarmac road. When you reach the car park (viewpoint overlooking Zurich Airport), continue straight ahead on the path that runs along the edge of the woods and continue to the junction with Langenzinggen Strasse.
(17) Continue straight ahead on Oberglattnerstrasse, then turn left at the fork to reach the bridge over the A51 motorway.
(18) Cross the bridge, then follow Oberglattnerstrasse through the fields to the town of Winkel.
(19) Turn right to enter the town, pass a wash house, then, at the stop sign, carefully cross Zurichstrasse at the pedestrian crossing and turn right. Continue to the white building at the edge of town.
(20) Turn left onto the no-entry road, then quickly turn left (north-east) to follow the edge of a wood. Continue until you reach a crossroads in the middle of a cultivated field.
(21) Turn left (southeast), follow the directional signs and, after several turns, you will reach a crossroads at the end of a field bordered by trees.
(22) Turn left towards the north-east, continue straight ahead and carefully cross Hungerbüelstrasse. Then head south-east along a wood on your left until you reach a crossroads on Heubergstrasse.

(23) At a hairpin bend, continue north-east. Follow this main direction, passing through woods and fields, until you reach a fork in the road south-west of a recycling centre.
(24) Turn left towards the north-east, pass the recycling centre on your right and continue to the signpost on Zelgstrasse.
(25) Take the path on the left towards Embrach Obermühl and continue through the Hüeneren woods until you reach the junction with Winklerstrasse.
(26) Continue straight ahead and turn left (north-west) at the fork to enter the Platten forest. At the next fork, turn right and continue north-east along the edge of the forest to the signpost under a high-voltage pylon.
(27) Continue straight ahead on the gently sloping gravel path towards Embrach. Enter the Wissbuck woods and follow the path north-east until you reach the intersection of the paths.
(28) Ignore this path and continue straight ahead towards the north-west. Then, after a bend that takes you south-east, continue to the edge of the woods, where you will find an intersection with a stony path in front of a high-voltage pylon.
(29) Turn left (northeast), then at the intersection at elevation 432, turn right to pass in front of allotment gardens before arriving at an Opel dealership. Then turn left and continue to the stop sign in front of the Alfa Romeo dealership in the town of Embrach.
(30) Turn right onto Bülacherstrasse, pass a supermarket where you can stock up on supplies, and continue to the roundabout. Cross it to reach the car park of the Coop Supermarkt Embrach, where you can stock up on supplies again.
(31) Continue north to the crossroads between two blocks of flats. Turn right onto Blauenweg (Blue Path) heading east/north-east. Follow this road until you reach the Ziegelhütte forest. After an S-bend in the forest, you will come to a three-way junction.
(32) Head northwest, then turn northeast after a wide curve. Continue to the intersection with Ziegelhüttenweg (Ziegelhütten Path). First turn left then right to exit the woods and reach the intersection with the main road.
(33) Cross this road carefully, then turn right towards the northeast, following a railway line on your left. Continue until you pass the railway bridge and the intersection, before arriving at a signpost marking the start of a forest path. Enter the woods following the direction of Dättlikon, then descend the forest path to reach and cross the footbridge over the Töss. Find a secluded spot on the riverbank to set up camp (E).
