Pointe de Chaurionde

This hike will take you to the Pointe de Chaurionde via the Col du Haut du Four and the south-west ridge. Don't miss the chamois that inhabit the slopes. At the summit, you can admire Lake Annecy and Mont Blanc. You will cross the Vallon d'Orgeval (the valley of bears), which has now become a peaceful valley home to Tarine and Abondance cows and marmots.In June, the flora is magnificent and varied.
Chaurionde means "round summit".
(6) Access to the summit (or descent) via the Chalet de Coutarse is now prohibited (ZR zone of the PNR).
The Col d'Orgeval

The Col d'Orgeval is located on theGRP® trail in the Massif des Bauges. More than the pass or the chalets, it is the superb Orgeval valley with its gentle slopes that will remain in hikers' memories.
The mountain pasture is owned by the same family, who graze a pretty herd of heifers there.
Mont de la Coche and Tré le Mollard

This beautiful, wild circular hike starting from the Nant du Fourchu car park takes you to two peaks over 2,000 m in the Bauges massif in just a few kilometres, and can be completed with a climb to Pointe d'Arcalod. You may even see some marmots!
The Col d'Arclusaz

A beautiful outing in the Arclusaz valley, dominated by some of the beautiful peaks of the Bauges.

The Lac Noir du Grand Arc via the Char de la Turche

From the Baraque de l'Abbaye to the Chalet de l'Alpettaz

This hike takes you to the heart of the Faverges-Seythenex valley, following the Lac d'Annecy with the Torrent de Saint-Ruph, which is the lake's main source of water, ending with a view of Albertville and Mont Blanc at the Col de l'Alpettaz (alt. 1,580 m).
Pointe des Arangles loop via La Roche Brisée

A beautiful, wild hike at the start of the season, with no one else on the route. Beautiful views of the western ridge of Comborsier, the Grand Mont d'Arêches and even Mont Blanc. Be careful to keep quiet, as this is black grouse territory.

Montagne du Charbon - Pointe de Banc Plat

A lovely getaway in the Bauges mountains, with a round trip to the Pointe de Banc Plat (one of the two main peaks of the Montagne du Charbon). Although not very high, the Pointe de Banc Plat offers a remarkable panoramic view (the Montagne du Charbon is the northern part of the Trelod chain). The forest trail at the foot of the Montagne du Charbon is splendid.

Grand Chat loop
A beautiful hike in the north of the Belledonne Massif. The ridge route offers sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. A few information boards mark the route.
Crossing the Col de Sarvatan-Col de Monjoie via the two pass trail

This loop south of the Lauzière allows you to explore both sides of the chain, climbing directly to the Pas de Sarvatan, then crossing the western slope via a well-marked trail before descending from the Col de Monjoie through beautiful meadows.
From the Pont du Diable to the sawmills

From the spectacular canyon at the Pont du Diable, this hike takes you to the sawmills, one of which has been restored by local heritage enthusiasts. The return route takes you through the pretty village of Bellecombe-en-Bauges
Lac du Mont Charvin

An out and return walk to Lac du Mont Charvin. Passing through woodland, then pasture before entering the higher and more rocky terrain. Great views Mont Blanc from the ridge above the lake.
The Seven Fountains Loop in Montmin

This loop trail runs through the suspended valley of Montmin and takes you to the monument of the Seven Fountains (1642), a Christian building with a very unusual design.
Chalet de l'Aulp - Rocher du Roux

Taillefer ridge (Crete du Taillefer) from Camping La ravoire and Camping Les fontaines

The famous Taillefer ridge hike is a great hike to do directly from camping la ravoiure and les fontaines. Mostly woodland hiking (therefore nicely shaded in many parts, with superb views of the lake and mountains. Steep ascent to the L'oratoire but no particular technical difficulties. Some passages can be slippery in wet weather. Walking poles are good to bring! This hike is approx 3-5 hours long.
Sentier de découverte de la tourbière des Saisies

A short, shaded and pleasant family trail, allowing you to discover the Les Saisies peat bog, classified as a nature reserve, as well as rare and protected species, including carnivorous plants.

The Saint-Jacques Towers loop
The Saint-Jacques Towers are a group of three monoliths that have broken away from the cliff and continue to slide 2 to 3 cm per year.
The suggested route allows you to see them from different angles, from above and below.
Along the way, note the paved road and the massive log barns.
