Start and finish at the car park opposite the Pierre Grange secondary school, near the climbing wall.
(S/E) Take the path on the left going up towards the château, then follow the road that climbs to the right to the medieval town of Conflans.
(1) Pass under the entrance gate and follow the main stone lane to the church. Turn left, then take the right-hand lane uphill towards an old castle.
(2) The lane then turns into a well-marked path in the hillsides of Farette.
Keep left on the uphill path. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the hamlet of Farette.
(3) Continue by turning right. After crossing the hamlet, the path climbs through the woods to reach a road towards Les Garzons.
(4) Cross the road, continue straight ahead and, at a cross, take a marked path uphill before reaching Le Bettex.
(5) Then follow a marked path to the left towards Champ Facholaz. The path climbs steeply and passes close to the hamlet of Le Mont.
(6) At Le Mont, turn left onto a track for about 500 metres, then turn right onto a marked trail that leads to Fort du Mont, the highest point of the route at an altitude of 1,113 metres.
(7) From there, take the path opposite, which descends and quickly branches off to the left, leading to a road that you cross several times before arriving at Châtaignier.
(8) Continue along the road for about two metres, then take the path opposite to descend quickly into the woods (be careful, the path is slippery when it rains heavily) to arrive at Le Rafour.
(9) Then take the path opposite leading down towards Farette. Turn right to cross the hamlet.
(3) At the exit, follow the small road, cross the village of Conflans and return to the entrance gate.
(1) Continue on the left and take Rue de la Montée Adolphe Hugues on the right.
(10) After 300 metres on this downhill road, cross a car park on your left to reach a downhill path that leads to the D990. Continue along this road to the left to reach the car park (S/E).
