Walk near the Germanasca
An easy walk along a path running alongside the Germanesca. The starting point is not far from the Hotel de la Forestiera. The path is fairly flat and shaded. It is an easy walk for families and very pleasant in summer.
Lake Lauson and Fort Gran Costa from Grand Puy
Enjoy both the pleasure of a lake and a beautiful ridge offering a 360° panorama (Écrins, Vanoise, Orsiera Park, Val Troncea, Queyras), all starting from a charming little hamlet that has been beautifully restored.
Lago Verde - Crosenna Alp
2nd stage is entirely in Italy allowing you to walk alongside the many military buildings that protect the nearby border. The long descent before the shelter lets you enjoy the Italian pastures that appear much greener than the French. This is due to the more abundant moisture from this side of the border.
Cima del Bosco
A lovely hike to an easily accessible summit, offering superb views of some of the peaks of Queyras, Écrins and the Italian Piedmont.
Refuge de la Chardouse - Pamplinet
This is the first stage of a journey that will take you across France, following the 45th parallel as closely as possible (within 10 km). To truly cross France and avoid going back and forth, the starting point is in Italy. However, it is possible to start from Pamplinet and climb up to the Col de Désertes to start from the French-Italian border.
Long tour towards Italy from Les Roux d'Abriès
Long loop starting from Les Roux, taking us to Italy to Lago Verde and its refuge, returning via another pass and another equally pleasant valley and the hamlet of Valpréveyre.
The Queyras circuit - Val Pellice
Three days walking through the passes and cabins in this region and opportunities to explore this lovely area. Enjoy an Italian tradition: agroturismo by residing overnight in one of the farms alongside calves, cows, pigs, chickens etc.
Valpréveyre - Lago Verde
First stage of Circuit Franco-Italian border "Queyras in Val Pellice" punctuated by passages through three interesting passes: Malaure, Bouchet and Vampréveyre.
The Crosenna Alp – Valpréveyre
3rd and last stage of this Franco-Italian circuit. It meets with a variation of the Queyras circuit above the Jervis Refuge to reach Valpréveyre by the Col d’Urine.
Abriés - Aiguilles
The seventh and final stage takes you past the Malrif lakes under the ridge separating Queyras and Briançonnais.
The Grand Glaiza
Located at the bottom of the Fonts de Cervières valley, this 3,293-metre peak marks the border with Italy. It is very easy to access and offers remarkable views of the peaks of Queyras and Ubaye and, when not hidden by the nebia, the nearby Mont Viso.
Lac des Cordes circuit
A remarkable circuit in the famous Fonts de Cervières valley, with a magnificent lake at the foot of the Pic de Rochebrune cirque.
The Sioux trail in Cervières
For a multi-faceted walk in the Vallée des Fonts de Cervières:- a wide path along the edge of the Cerveyrette,- an arrival point featuring not teepees, but remarkable chalets,- an impressive view of the Pic du Lombard summit,- and above all, a delicious meal at the Refuge des Fonts, this is an interesting idea for a pleasant day out.
Trek around Monte Viso in 5 days, stage 2
The second stage of our trek around Monte Viso starts with a hike through green foliage at the bottom of the valley. Then a passage through beautiful alpine pastures near a delightful little lake. Stunning view point at Col Sellière.
Lacroix and Ségure lakes
A long climb up the Ségure valley leads to these two grassy lakes nestled in the large cirque formed by the peaks of Pic des Fonds de Peynin, Grand Queyras and Pic Ségure.
Around the Malrif Lakes
Alpine pastures in bloom, lakes, a ridge with a magnificent view!
A beautiful hike for the start of the season!
Malrif Lakes
Beautiful mountain lakes and magnificent landscapes.
Le Grand Glaiza from the hamlet of Lombard
The start from the hamlet of Lombard offers an alternative to the classic route from the Bergerie du Lombard.
A very beautiful route to climb to the summit of Grand Glaiza, the third highest peak in Queyras, via the Malrif lakes. The breathtaking views will more than compensate for the effort required.
The hamlets of the Adret d'Aiguilles
A circular hike starting from Aiguilles and passing through Chalvet, Le Lombard, Les Eygliers and La Pause. Normally classified as moderate, but difficult due to:- the uneven distribution of elevation gain: fairly steep climb from the start, almost flat for 7 km, steep descent,- two small, almost flat sections where the path is poorly marked,- a steep section protected by a handrail that is impractical in snow or frost and impossible for a donkey, even without a pack. A dog off the leash can pass through easily.
An afternoon with Mamé in Aiguilles
This hike is designed as a walk for someone who is not as alert as they used to be but who still loves the mountains, the smell of larch trees and the sound of cowbells.Note: as the walk starts from the car park of the EHPAD and the Foyer d'Accueil Médicalisé, Mamé is a generic name.NB: given the slight incline and long flat distances, this route can also be used for jogging, at a very different pace.
