This walk is part of a multi-day hike: Cross-border between the Queyras and Alta Pellice

Description of the walk

The second stage after JERVIS was completed on 13 August, not on 22 August as stated. A very beautiful route, starting with a long flat section through a lovely hamlet, followed by a steady climb towards GRANERO. The same praise and appreciation as for JERVIS, but a far more extraordinary location. On the downside, there was a 24-bed dormitory and a hailstorm in the afternoon. Price per person: €56; drinks were reasonably priced and a picnic cost €10. Here too, the fully refurbished mountain refuge comes highly recommended, as does the marvellous setting.
