We start from the car park, which is used by both the local hospital and the primary school.
(S/E) Cross the road (at the pedestrian crossing), then head towards the Ribes plain in the direction of the restaurant. From there, cross the footbridge and you will find yourself in the snow play area. Walk along the bottom of it, which makes it easy to cross the Peynin torrent.
(1) Opposite the snow groomer building, you can park a car, which will be useful if the walk is too hard for Mamé.
If Mamé is struggling on the climb, follow the trail uphill towards the chapel.
If she is less comfortable going downhill, go in the opposite direction, downhill on this tarmac road. After the chapel, the climb becomes less steep and turns into an almost flat track suitable for vehicles.
(2) When it starts to climb again, take the well-marked flat path. From there, the support vehicle can no longer follow.
(3) You will arrive at a bench at the highest point of the walk. Take a well-deserved break before descending on a wide path that is free of stones but not suitable for vehicles.
(4) You will reach the road, and therefore the possibility of returning by car, at the fenced campsite. Follow this almost flat tarmac road to the right, which passes in front of a sheep farm to the vehicle bridge. From there, return to the initial crossroads via a short climb.
(1) Return to the car park on the left (S/E) by retracing your steps and take the opportunity to say: well done, Mamé.
