The Savasse mountain
This hike allows us to visit the old village of Savasse, nestled against the mountain, with its beautiful, well-renovated village houses. A climb through the boxwood trees leads to the telephone relay station with a 360° panorama: view of the Rhône valley, the plains of Montélimar and Valence, and the Saôu forest. The return trip is through the woods, with some very fragrant lavender fields in June.
Rocher de Ruas - Crête des Grands Abris
The Rocher de Ruas offers views of the plain and the Marsanne forest, as well as a panorama of the Grand Veymont, the Trois Becs, Couspeau and the Drôme Pre-Alps. You will then discover the Rhône valley, mostly on a path through the woods.
Barrès Valley and Forest
This hike will take you on a journey of discovery through holm oaks, downy oaks, Scots pines and maples, as well as many species introduced into the Barrès Forest, such as black pines, Atlas cedars, Mediterranean firs and Douglas firs.

From Marsanne to the Col du Devès via the wind farm and the Pierre Sanglante
A route mainly following idyllic forest tracks and paths that offer lovely views over the Andrans plain. Starting from Marsanne, the route follows the Sentier des Fileuses to the Col de la Grande Limite, then heads towards the wind farm and passes by the Pierre Sanglante. It continues along the ridge to the Col du Devès and a magnificent viewpoint located at the paragliding launch site. A short loop around this plateau through wild woodland, then back to Marsanne via a balcony trail.
Bois de Bressac and Chemin des Colporteurs starting from Saint-Lager-Bressac
This walk offers a wide variety of scenery: in the Bressac woods you look down on the River Sichier, then on the ridge you have a magnificent view of the Saint-Vincent-de-Barrès valley.
Old village of La Laupie
A short walk offering the chance to discover a magnificent, restored site with its narrow streets and paved slanting streets on its promontory.
Further on, the small, secluded Chapel of Saint-Jacques is also full of charm.

Géry Plateau and the Jabron in Montélimar
You’ll follow a shaded path along the banks of the Jabron, much loved by walkers, before climbing slightly up onto the Géry plateau. Situated on the heights above Montélimar, the Géry plateau offers a magnificent view over the Valdaine plain to the south and east of Montélimar. Incidentally, this plateau was once the capital of a Celtic people known as the Ségovéllaunes (meaning ‘victorious chiefs’). They are said to have built an oppidum there during antiquity, up until the 1st century BC.
