Park in the car park of the Marsanne village hall.
(S/E) When leaving the car park, turn right towards Place Auguste Canon.
Turn left at the church, then take the stairs halfway down Rue Gustave Maroux on the right to reach Place Auguste Canon.
Walk past a bar-restaurant to reach the start of the Serre de Paruel trail.
At the first intersection, continue straight ahead on the Serre de Paruel trail.
(1) At the second intersection, turn right to join the upper trail overlooking the village. Stay on the main trail, which joins the Fresneau path.
(2) When you reach the forest barrier, continue straight ahead to reach the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Fresneau. Fountain and toilets available.
Take the Way of the Cross overlooking the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame de Fresneau, which starts behind the chapel. Continue for 50 metres until you reach the crossroads.
(3) Turn right. The Way of the Cross descends to the upper road of Chemin de Fresneau. When you reach the intersection with Route de Mirmande, continue straight ahead to reach the Saint-Félix stairs, located at the end of Rue du Prieuré.
(4): Climb up to the viewpoint of the castle ruins (viewpoint over the Vercors, Trois Becs and Couspeau mountains) and visit the Priory of Saint-Félix. For the more adventurous, it is possible to climb up to the orientation table, located above the castle ruins at the hairpin bend.
(5) Retrace your steps back to the start of the Saint-Félix stairs.
(4) At the bottom of the stairs, take the alley on the left and, at the bottom of the stairs, turn left to reach the Place de l'Hôpital.
After crossing Place de l'Hôpital, take the path on the right past an old fountain, then join the main street of the old village (Rue du Comte de Poitier) to descend towards the village.
Pass in front of the Château de Montluisant and take the stairs behind the town hall to reach the village hall via Rue du Chemin des Buis (S/E).
