A beautiful walk taking you through several natural environments: dunes, forests, beaches and cliffs.

A mix of surprising landscapes: a faux medieval castle, a forest of deciduous and coniferous trees, then you come out at the top of a dune overlooking the beach. Most of the walk is in the shade and there is a beach for picnics.

Surrounded by the two capes of Gris Nez and Blanc Nez, the bay of Wissant offers beautiful panoramic views along its kilometres of dunes.

An easy, idyllic walk. The trail offers a lovely view over the heights of the Terrouin Valley and takes you to the former Villey-Saint-Étienne quarry, designated a Sensitive Natural Area, where nature has reclaimed its rightful place. Ramstein Castle dates back to the 13th century. It stands on a rocky sandstone outcrop. At the summit, there is a panoramic view of Baerenthal and its valley. The two lakes, Ramstein and Baerenthal, are full of charm and make an ideal spot for a refreshing break.

Set in a magnificent natural setting, this walk takes you to discover two remarkable castles in ruins that will appeal to children and adults alike: Vieux Windstein, an ancient structure built into the rock with its staircases and underground chambers, and Nouveau Windstein with its impressive shield walls, residential towers and pointed-arch gates.

A lovely family walk along small forest paths, taking you to the two summits of the Grand and Petit Jumeau. The two routes can be done separately. Peaceful and shaded, this walk is an ideal choice for a stroll during the height of the summer heat. As an added bonus, there is a playground, a small pond and picnic tables in a magnificent clearing at the starting point.

In the middle of a dense pine forest, huge granite boulders are piled up to a depth of 7 to 8 metres over a length of 400 metres and a width of 40 metres. The Barbey-Seroux Rock Field remains a mystery to scientists. A one-kilometre marked nature trail allows visitors to explore this astonishing rock chaos. An easy and pleasant walk suitable for young children.

On a steep hillside above the village of Mollkirch, this trail invites you to discover the mysteries of the forest. Druids, elves, dolmens and stones dot the trail, along with a dozen information panels. The walk also includes a visit to one of the largest fortresses in Alsace: Guirbaden Castle.

After dawdling along Lake Alfeld, you climb up following the Issenbach Canal. Crossing a moraine reminds you that you are on granite terrain. Arriving at the Issenbach Refuge, you can enjoy a picnic on a grassy terrace facing the Sewen Valley or, further on, a meal at the Baerenbach farmhouse inn. Then the climb along the Seebach is magical, with its small, steep-sided gorges and numerous small waterfalls.

A very pleasant, shaded circular route on charming forest paths. After an easy climb, almost the entire route is on the summit plateau. You will walk from rock to rock: Joli Bois, Faucompierre, Corbeaux, Coucou, Renard, passing by Tête de Répy, with beautiful views at each one.

Starting at the Étang Noir and its lookout point, the trail leads from pond to pond, skirting a peat bog and crossing a pond on a wooden bridge leading to a chalet, making for a shady and very easy walk. As a bonus, there are lovely views of the Vosges mountains and the Thillot valley.

This is a lovely walk that winds along the shores of Lake Pierre-Percée and leads you to the surprising Roches de la Xaveure and Marie Fontaine rock formations. As a bonus, you will pass through the charming little village of Pierre-Percée and, when it is possible again, visit the ruins of Salm Castle and its magnificent view of the lake.

A circular route, mostly along shaded forest paths, which will take you to two major points of interest: halfway along the route, the surprising site of the old Plaines quarry and its magnificent view over the Tholy Valley, and at the end of the route, Chèvre Roche and its sweeping panoramic view over Vagney and the Moselotte Valley.

A forest setting for this family-friendly route. Peat bogs, rocks, viewing points and the ruins of a medieval castle. The Étang de Hanau, often considered the most beautiful lake in the Northern Vosges, is set within an exceptional natural site, designated a “World Biosphere Reserve” by UNESCO.

This varied route has a special charm, taking in very different environments: lakes, marshes, peat bogs, rivers, meadows and forests. The highlight is the Belvédère des Deux Lacs, which offers a unique view of the Lac de Remoray National Nature Reserve and its natural environments.

At the foot of the cliffs of the Risoux forest lies a patchwork of marshes and peat bogs. From the top of the Roche Bernard promontory, the small glacial lakes of Les Mortes and Bellefontaine are like jewels. An exceptional walk.

The Saine river has its source in the shelter of this limestone amphitheatre. Admire this magnificent resurgence with its wild but accessible character, climb up high, follow the Bayard botanical trail and contemplate a grandiose and unusual landscape from the Belvédère de la Roche Fendue.

The village of Les Planches-en-Montagne has a picturesque gem at its heart: gorges carved into the limestone and well hidden under the trees. The Saine rushes through them with gusto. Force, turmoil and noise coexist here with calm, serenity and gentleness.

Overlooking the upper Moselotte valley, you will discover the secrets of the high-altitude peat bogs nestled in the Rondfaing fir forests. The return trail, which runs along a balcony, offers superb views all the way to the end, especially in autumn. This is a very easy hike, accessible to all, including children.

A short but very beautiful hike to the summit of Haut de Bélué, 870 m high. It overlooks the Grandrupt valley and offers a superb panorama of the Haute Moselle valley, dominated by the silhouettes of the Alsace and Servance balloons. The site features a forest chalet open to the public, a children's play area, picnic tables and an orientation table with a view of the Vosges ridges.

A very pleasant walk with multiple viewpoints along the route. It will take you to the rocky summit of Haut du Roc, which rises to an altitude of 1,012 metres, an ideal place for a break, with a magnificent panorama over the Moselotte Valley as far as Remiremont. 

A beautiful shaded walk in the Fossard Forest, which has no shortage of points of interest: the beautiful Chapelle du Vieux Saint-Amé, the magnificent Saint-Mont esplanade, the Pont des Fées and the Miraumont waterfall. At the summit of Saint-Mont, a vast grassy area is ideally suited for a picnic break and offers, as a bonus, a magnificent 360° panorama of the Moselle and Moselotte valleys.

A walk to explore the Upper Moselle Valley and the Vosges Ballons, starting at the Chapelle des Vés, passing through the clearing at the Pic des Corbeaux hunters’ shelter before reaching its summit. The return route is shaded, winding through ferns and then the forest.
