Graber circuit via Schlumpf from Dolleren

Access: From Masevaux, head towards Ballon d'Alsace until you reach the village of Dolleren. Cross the village until you reach the car park at the second bridge. Car park on the left, opposite the sawmill on the D466G in Dolleren.
Green Ring markings

(S/E) With your back to the sawmill car park, go up the road on the left for about 100 metres. Cross the bridge over the Doller on the left and follow Rue du Moulin for about 50 metres, then turn left until you reach the right-hand bend.

(1) Leave the return path opposite and follow the street to the right, where the Green Ring (and Red Ring) markings begin. The street continues along the path that leads to Route du Schlumpf, passing above the Lager farm. Follow this road to the right for about 200 metres.

(2) At the left-hand bend, leave Route du Schlumpf and continue straight ahead, entering the Graber valley via a stone path. Note the presence of several working farms on your left.
At the fork shortly after, leave the path marked Anneau Rouge, turn right and continue left following the Anneau Vert markings. Then ignore a path leading off to the left and another coming from the right and continue to a fork. Enjoy the views over the Graber pasture. Beautiful view of the Graber farm.

(3) Turn left onto a downhill path after seeing the farm. Cross the stream, and a short, fairly steep slope leads to the Graber farm, typical of the Doller Valley.
Pass above the farm via a wide white path. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Gresson. Cross a small stream and enter the forest.

(4) Turn right at a right angle, then leave the path on the left and continue along the grassy path climbing to the right (not marked).
Continue straight ahead towards Schlumpf across a beautiful meadow, where you will find the Green Ring trail markers. View of Rossberg and Holschlag farm below on the left. After crossing a stream, turn right into the forest for a few dozen metres and join a path on the left that leads to the Schlumpf inn (still following the Green Ring markings).
From the inn, you can enjoy views of Rossberg, Belacker, Gresson and the villages of Rimbach, Dolleren and Oberbruck.

(5) At the Schlumpf inn, turn right towards the ski lift and turn left after passing a cattle grid. Go down the old Schlumpf path, joining a path coming from the right, and continue left until you reach the road.

(6) Follow it to the right and, after the left-hand bend, continue for about 100 metres.

(7) Turn right onto the path (IGN 605 on the map), cross a meadow, then pass close to a reservoir, and finally join the village road. Turn right and continue for about 100 metres until you find the start of a path on the left.

(8) Take this path on the left, crossing a meadow, to reach the crossroads you came across on the way there.

(1) Continue straight ahead and return to the car park by taking the same path as on the way there in the opposite direction (S/E).
