La Haute Neuveville, crossroads of the plague victims (parking area)
(S/E) Continue along the tarmac road for about 50 metres. Take the path just behind the picnic table next to the information board and follow the Faucompierre route (Anneau Vert). After a short climb, you will quickly reach Roche Joli Bois.
(1) Continue to the surprising Roches de Faucompierre, which you will go around at the bottom.
(2) Climb a few metres to the top of the Roches de Faucompierre and enjoy a magnificent view of the Vosges plain. There are benches here. Descend and, immediately afterwards, leave the Faucompierre route to follow the Croix Bleue de la Pierre d'Appel route opposite. A rock with cup marks is indicated further to the right. Pass by an electricity pylon and continue along a wider, straight path until you reach a track junction.
(3) Do not immediately head towards the Roche des Corbeaux indicated straight ahead, but turn right (still following the Croix Bleue signs for the Pierre d'Appel route) and you will come to a fork.
(4) Leave the Blue Cross markings and turn onto thefirst path on the left (upper part), towards Roche des Corbeaux, now following the Yellow Disc markings for the Répy route. There is a beautiful viewpoint (bench), then a second one at Roche des Corbeaux. Pass another electricity pylon and continue along this pretty forest path to Roche du Coucou, then to the Tête de Répy orientation table.
(5) Lovely view of Raon l'Étape from Tête de Répy. Quickly reach Roche du Renard on a small road; cross it to take the yellow disc marked path opposite, which descends.
(6) Leave the markings on your left, which take you back to the route you took on the way up, and descend to the right along a wide, unmarked lane that turns right and joins a forest path. Follow it to the left and return to the (S/E).
