Panoramic view from Grand Felletin

A pleasant little walk along a wide forest path, surrounded by tall pine trees, to the Grand Felletin orientation table and the magnificent panorama that can be seen from there. In September, take a basket with you, as there are mushrooms to be found.
La Maumarcha and Le Grand Felletin

The Maumarcha or the fantastic trail of northern Vivarais: over (more than) 1.2 km, behind a tree or a rock, you will encounter strange characters... let your imagination run wild and be amazed by the whimsical creations of nature...
Then return via the Grand Felletin, where, according to the elders, it is possible to see the three suns at dawn, when the latter is reflected on Mont Blanc.

From Lalouvesc to the Croix des Tramezières

Hike between mountains and valleys on the edge of the Ardèche, with the religious heritage of the village of Lalouvesc, a place of pilgrimage dedicated to Saint-Jean-François Régis and Sister Thérèse Couderc. At the end of the route, cross the wind farm.
Lalouvesc, Mont-Chaix and Mont Besset

Lalouvesc (at an altitude of 1,100 metres) is the meeting point of theGR® 420 and 430 trails. Lalouvesc has manyPR® (white and yellow) trails. This hike takes you along theGR® 420 and 430 and PR® trails. It skirts around the Chaix and Besset mountains. It stays at a high altitude, as none of the trails described here descend into the valley. Lalouvesc is also a remarkable site from which, on a clear day, you can see the Alps.
Dunières Gorges

A circular route that allows you to appreciate the Gorges de la Dunières. The paths are not always easy (unpaved, steep) but offer beautiful views of a place that is not very touristy and little known to the public. It is a place frequented by mushroom pickers, 4x4s, motorbikes and, in season, hunters.
The Chirol Cross in Burdignes

A relatively easy walk to a viewpoint overlooking the Rhône valley, the Pilat and Ardèche mountains, and a superb view of the Alps on clear days.
In the forests of Ardèche from Lac de Devesset

Starting from the Devesset car park, this easy loop, mostly through woodland, will take you through the forests of the Ardèche. Enjoy the peace and coolness before returning to the lake for a swim or a complete tour of the lake if you still want to walk!
On the heights of Villevocance

A short, easy hike around Villevocance which, on a clear day, offers panoramic views of the Rhône Valley, the Alps, Burdignes and the Vocance Valley.
Mer de Glace - Toissieux

A short walk off the beaten track. Short but intense at the start, it follows paths that have almost been forgotten, including one along a cliff edge.

Easy hike on the Ardèche plateau. Relaxing landscapes and a magnificent lake, with a leisure centre.
Combined with a swim in Lac de Devesset, you can enjoy a beautiful day of hiking in the morning and leisure activities in the afternoon.

Hike on the plateau from the Col de la République between Saint-Genest-Malifaux and Saint-Régis-du-Coin.
Boucle au départ du Col de la République

a peaceful walk with no difficult sections but not recommended for young children or pushchairs, through forest, alongside ponds and numerous fields in the Pilat Park.

The Polish maquis monument

This easy, short walk through the woods in the heart of the Grand Bois in the Pilat Regional Nature Park is a chance to remember a tragic event from the Second World War, around a small monument that has been somewhat forgotten as it does not appear on any maps.

Towards the heights of Saint Sauveur-en-Rue to the west of Bourg-Argental

A hike west of Bourg-Argental, towards Saint-Sauveur-en-Rue, between the Déôme and Riotet valleys. Beautiful views at Ss Montchal and the Taillard Forest, to the east towards the Alps and to the north towards the Col de la République. A route alternating between very quiet roads and good paths and trails.
The Col du Marchand from Pailharès

A very pleasant hike with remarkable views. The climb to the Col du Marchand is along beautiful trails winding through dense forests and open pastures, offering a peaceful and varied atmosphere. Once at the pass, the route continues towards the Sardier massif, where a superb panorama opens up over the surrounding area. The descent passes through the hamlets of Les Bauds and Nectardechois, adding an authentic touch to the route. This is a pleasant, well-balanced hike that is particularly remarkable for its many viewpoints.
