Park in the village square near the fountain where Sully, the lime tree planted during the reign of Henry IV, stands.
(S/E) Take the road behind you that climbs towards Beaujon. It quickly becomes a forest road. Take the climb that leads to the Virgin Mary statue or pass it on your right and continue along the road.
(1) On your left, you will have a view of the Pilat peaks. Go around Roche Béraud, then descend on the road that leads to Chirol.
(2) Take this road, following it to the left. Continue uphill to the Col de Rochepin. You will see forest picnic tables.
(3) Take the path that climbs through the broom bushes straight ahead towards the Croix de Chirol, leaving the road on your left. Enter the undergrowth and descend to a new pass. From this path, you can see the cross. Descend to the left, following the path that leads to Chirol. On your right, a path climbs through the broom bushes.
(4) Follow the "sentier du parc 2" (park path 2) and arrive at the calvary where there are three tablets serving as an orientation table. There is a superb view of the Annonay basin and the surrounding peaks from this summit, which is only 915 metres above sea level.
(5) Descend via the path you took on the way up to rejoin the Chirol trail that you left earlier. Turn right towards the Chirol farm, then after passing it on your left, take the road on the left. Climb back up to the picnic tables you saw on the way up, on your left.
(3) Follow the road you took on the way up towards Burdignes. Continue your return journey along the road (there is little traffic) to enjoy the view of the hamlets below and the panorama of the Ardèche mountains. Le Grand Felletin is visible, recognisable by part of its summit bleached by scree.
Return to the car park in the village square (S/E).
