Parking is available in the church square at the very end of the small village.
(S/E) Opposite the church, take the grassy path that descends to the left to reach the hamlet of Souteyrat.
(1) Walk through the hamlet and take the dirt track that runs alongside the houses, then you’ll come out onto the road leading to Lafarre.
(2) Turn left, passing through the hamlets of Bergeron, Farre and then Maison Neuve.
(3) At the hairpin bend, take the path branching off to the left. Keep to the right at the junctions you come to before joining a road; follow this to the left until you reach the RD236. Continue carefully to the left as far as Les Asclards.
(4) Take the track on the left as you leave the hamlet and head towards Le Faux.
(5) Cross the hamlet either to the right or the left (choice of route). At the second hairpin bend, leave the track and take the path on the right, which cuts across it before reaching the Col du Faux, where you rejoin the RD236.
(6) Cross the road and take the path opposite towards the Serre des Vernes. Keep heading south-east, cross a track, continue straight on for a few dozen metres before turning right to join another track, which you should follow.
(7) Turn right and begin a wide left-hand bend. Then leave the track and take a path on the left which rejoins it further on.
(8) Carry on straight ahead along the ridge as far as the Serre de Sardier.
(9) At the hairpin bend, leave the track and follow the path leading to the Croix des Chaumettes crossroads.
(10) Follow signs for Lafarre by turning right and join the RD236.
(11) Cross the departmental road with care, then take the tarmac path opposite to reach Fromentoux.
(12) Head slightly to the right, passing between the houses, and carry on to Le Sert.
(13) Continue straight ahead on the road, then leave it to take a path on the left which leads further on to the D336. Go straight ahead to reach the church square and the car park (S/E).
