Pont-de-l'Arche walks

Nestled between the Seine and the hills of Normandy, Les Damps and the Bord-Louviers forest offer the ideal setting for a nature walk. This walk follows the Eure on both banks from Pont-de-l'Arche, then crosses the village of Léry and continues into the Bord forest. It returns via Les Damps, offering the opportunity to visit the charming village of Pont-de-l'Arche. Please note that this walk is partly impassable during periods of flooding.

A lovely little walk, full of flowers in spring, through fields planted with cherry trees and villages. You can admire the view over Sotteville-sous-le-Val and the beautifully maintained houses and gardens in Les Authieux-sur-le-Port-Saint-Ouen.

The 2 Lovers' hike.

This walk offers a variety of landscapes from the Seine-Eure region. The banks of the Eure, old villages and the modern town of Val-de-Reuil. Near the Bord-Louviers National Forest, you’ll follow forest paths through 4,500 hectares of deciduous and coniferous woodland. The starting point is at Val-de-Reuil station (Paris–Rouen–Le Havre line). Ideal for walkers without a car.

A pleasant walk, mostly through the forest, to see three remarkable trees and discover the panorama of La Roche Fouet, site of the ruins of the old Fouet castle.The start and end of the route are along the banks of the Seine.

Circuit around the water: lakes, ponds and river. This walk begins by crossing the Seine via a footbridge that passes over the locks and the Poses dam. It then goes around the Lac des Deux Amants and the Lac du Mesnil, where numerous birds, including waterfowl, add to the charm of these lakeside landscapes. Finally, the return to the banks of the Seine takes you past splendid houses built from local stone and faces the chalk cliffs.

This easy walk along the banks of the Seine and its branches, which form small islands, takes you to the small marina of Saint Aubin Les Elbeuf. The path continues to the bend opposite the church of Saint Georges d'Orival and its cliffs.

Circular loop in the Bord-Louviers forest via the old Route d'Elbeuf. This is a season when the forest seems both alive and peaceful, with animals bustling about before winter, mushrooms sprouting from the ground and trees losing their leaves.

Autumn hike in a forest environment, mainly consisting of large avenues called forest roads. The avenues and paths are covered with a carpet of russet, ochre and golden leaves. The air is cooler, ideal for walking, filled with the smells of damp earth, mushrooms and wood.

Country lanes and forest paths take you to the semi-troglodytic Saint-Adrien chapel, passing through the village of Belbeuf where you can admire the castle and its polygonal dovecote.

An easy hike that starts along the banks of the Seine, where the reflections are magnificent, especially the typical bridge of Saint-Pierre-du-Vauvray. Then, a very gentle climb into the forest leads to the village of Heudebouville and then the splendid panorama of Vironvay over the villages, hillsides, bridge, Château-Gaillard, meanders of the Seine, etc. Along the way, there are frequent small panoramas for those who wish to linger and take in the view.

A walk with varied landscapes: countryside, forests, abbey and the banks of the Andelle.

This route is suitable for all levels as the outward and return journeys follow the same route, so you can turn back at any time! The starting point is near the Jonquemare pond in Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. Passing through the Longboël forest, you will go through the Parc des Flotteaux, the Guinguette des Écluses, the dam and the Lac des Deux Amants.

Take a stroll through this village on the banks of the Seine, where a few curiosities await you: its church and its 15th-century mill, of which only the pillars date back to that period. This village is unique in that it has unusual dwellings known as troglodytes. Its hillsides overlooking the Seine are crossed by theGR® 2 hiking trail and are listed in the Natura 2000 programme and classified as an Important Bird Area (IBA).

A walk through three charming villages: Herqueville, Andé (and its Rue du Moulin) and then Connelles, allowing you to discover their remarkable architectural heritage. The woods and paths through the rolling countryside, as well as the hill offering panoramic views of the Seine and the Étangs de Poses, are an added bonus to this lovely walk.

Starting from the Clos Démont housing estate, this 9 km hike will take you along various paths in La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. You can take a break at the pond on Rue Saint-Autin, in the Lotissement des Beaux Repaires park, or on the Promenade du Clos Démont. Along the way, you will also see the Château Jacques Anquetil. You can shorten this route at any time by taking Rue des Andelys towards the town hall.
